Chillas Art needs to make a scary Mailman game where you deliver mail to creepy people

Walking around my neighborhood, some dogs scare the bejeezers out of me! And I don’t have to get anywhere near the house. That would have to be a jump scare.

Chilla’s Art did make Night Delivery, which wasn’t about a mail carrier per say, but did have a protagonist who delivered packages to an apartment complex. Seán created a very suspenseful intro to his recording of said game, which a lot of people mistook for Ego Content. There was another delivery-style game that Seán played in which he was in the back of a truck and hurled packages at people’s houses. It was during one of his X Games in One Video uploads from 2018. Of course Seán has recorded so many videos over the years that he probably couldn’t remember either of them; especially when he’s in the middle of a conversation with Ethan. 🧠👀🧠👀

one of the reasons i love this podcast (aside from enjoying the topics and their personalities) is how genuine their friendship is. they both laugh at eachothers jokes so often and it always feels so authentic, like they're just having a fun time hanging out and chatting. a podcast doesnt NEED that dynamic to be entertaining, but it definitely adds to the experience in my opinion.

US Mailer here: 1. There is city and rural (like mountain areas) mail, almost always both are severely understaffed. You get a route, city ppl walk their routes, rural usually drive. 2. Yes u sort mail, u have address on a cubby for each section ie section 1: 100 A street, 101 A street, exc 3. No certification however there is a 2 week training and then on job training (think shadowing a job) 4. You dont have to knock. Most ppl i know dont even leave the car. Ur lucky if ur package doesnt get yeeted somewhere youll never find. However this could be my county. 5. Here they pay based off route, if a route is 4hrs you get paid 4 hrs even if u did 2 or 8hrs of work. Only exception is if u work overtime then it switches to hrly. 6. It almost impossible to get fired, know a lady who is know for driving under many influences and has crashed the car several times (them all being hard enough to render the truck out of use) and she gets a 1 week retraining at max each time
@ivy666quinn11 ай бұрын
In Texas you need certification to be a rural mail carrier. I did 4 weeks of Academy. I burned my certification when I quit lol. But yeah I rarely left my LLV unless I had bigger parcels to take to the door.

Talking about mail..I work for UPS..im listening as I work right now! So to answer the questions incase anyone else is interested :P no you don't need to be certified in anything and you get paid decent..also as UPS for 70% of packages we just ring the doorbell, drop the package *take pic* and run away before anyone comes to the door to avoid human interaction..cause sometimes I've dealt with naked people answering the door..once with lubed up hands *true story* in which I needed a signature for..the job isn't the best job ever but man do I have some stories! Stay leaky people!..just don't be leaking to much when I knock at your door to deliver something

Ngl, the nauralink idea sounds dope for disabled people for prosthetics and stuff If anyone but elon would be doing it it could be cool Also it's not reading your thoughts, we can't do that with a supercomputer and mri. It just interprets nerve signals it's connected to, to like if You imagine how it is to have tail with the feeling of it and all, i'd guess that would be a similar feeling to using neural interface to do something It probably also requires some learning Some time ago i saw on yt some startup do prosthetic hands that sense severed nerve connections under skin and people who tested it reported feeling phantom touch when touching things with the prosthetics tldr human brain is wilder than imagination sometimes

22:00 One of the cool uses for brain-machine interfaces is for people with physical disabilities, such as prostheses. So instead of just having a piece of plastic attached to your arm, you can have a mechanical device that connects to your brain and returns full range of motion! Or helps with speech impediments, allowing communication directly from the brain to a device (a la Stephen Hawking). Not saying that Neuralink or Elon are the ones to achieve this, but the general technology has been around for a while and is pretty exciting!

As a mailman and leaker both, I can confirm that the worst part of my job is needing to stop what I'm doing and get a signature from someone. Also, there is no specific mailman certification, but there is mailman school that you have to go to. Typically three to four days of training before you can start delivering mail. I don't know how it works at every location, but my office requires us to come in before our route and sort the mail.

I'm a city carrier for USPS. Its wildly understaffed right now. Please apply. Im so tired. You can work up to 12 hours a day 13 days in a row. We work Sundays now cause Amazon can't handle their shit. If we just had more people across the board itd be so much nicer. It was such an easy job to get. The application process is kind of difficult to get through Because it's all through email. The test is online now. You don't have to go in person. You can be sent anywhere within 50 miles of your office. Which suuucks. Which is why I need more people to apply.

I was a mailman once... it was torture. I had to bike in the freezing cold, I was working from 5 am (yes, we do sort the mail ourselves) to like 6 pm. You always had to hurry so fucking much, there was to much work and if I worked over 8h (that was every time), I had to sign and lie that I didn't so the company wouldn't get fucked by the country (Slovenia). I was exhausted, and I was freezing every day, I still feel the impact of the cold in my hands every time it gets cold. I just don't have enough blood in my hands anymore, or idk. So, I hope the other post companies are way better. Lession learned the hard way. If your boss is abusing you or doing illegal shit, what fucking ever they do that you don't want, say no. I know it's hard, but money is not worth more than any kind of health. Now im in a much better place, and it's gonna go only up with time❤. Stay leaky

my mom works in a company that's part of some "club" and they somehow get tickets to the ravens games every year for customers- if the ravens had won she would've gone to the super bowl. so ik a lot of companies buy tickets so it's probably not as many people just spending their own money on the tickets (although there definitely are some who do spend that crazy amount to go)

Elon’s goal with Neuralink is to allow people with paraplegia to regain movement and to help restore vision to those born blind. The functions to connect to a smart phone or computer is likely a secondary function. The goal is for people with paralysis to control a keyboard or computer cursor with their minds.
