I'm envious of your trip! ... One thing I'd love you to talk about sometime is the details of stitches themselves, for example: 1) what part of the knitting/purling action creates what part of the V of a stitch, and 2) what difference knitting TBL makes (what does a k1tbl look like compared to a plain k1). Thank you!

Nancy, glad you enjoyed the Canadian Rockies. That's an area on my bucket list. Please discuss more about yarn weights. A few years ago I knew yarns that were a 4 weight was what I liked. Today I'm confused. I like Aron weight, what I use to think was weight 4. Your suggestion of checking gauge was a good way to tell the weight. Is there any other method if you don't have your pattern? BTW, I'm in Ohio knitting a Haps.
