The only thing i don’t like is the romanticizing of her cheating and making it seem right. Her husband doesn’t deserve it. :(
@BrainPilot14 күн бұрын
I totally get it, but that was her 'normal life'. As the life that she has with her husband is the life that she's been tasked to live. So she doesn't truly enjoy it
@morg720311 күн бұрын
@@BrainPilot agreed. And I felt that introducing the assistant character to ‘replace’ Helen helped solidify the idea of Helen as occupational wife. Her flashbacks of the affair were romanticized in order to humanize Helen and help us rationalize her vengeance.
@bitterale7211 күн бұрын
How was there an affair when there's no genuine marriage? There wasn't. She wasn't in a marriage. She's in a job.
@johannfunn696211 күн бұрын
I think the romanticizing it makes it more messed up (in a good way) Way more interesting to have the viewer experience the complexities and deceit of her whole situation. Wallace does deserve better, but baby steps. And I think Helen does wish happiness for him, and hopefully she can come clean one day. But first, spy business that will no doubt threaten his life
@ryanpellegrini10 күн бұрын
It seems like every show to come out of Netflix romanticizes cheating. This show just seems like writers projecting yet another feminist revenge fetish. It's slop for the masses.

This show was mid at best. You have the defense secretary’s wife who’s a spy but she walking around killing people and doing spy stuff with her whole face showing. That didn’t make sense to me at all. Her whole vengeance thing for the man she supposedly loved who was an undercover MI5 agent. The flashbacks didn’t make me feel anything, I’m sorry I just didn’t care for that part of the show. Her husband is so amazing such a good man who deserves better. I mean for a women who claims she loves her family and wants to protect them she was ready to put them all at risk for her vengeance ugh. I loved Sam though and the assassin girls.

The timeline at the end didn't seem right. Reed stated that the killing happened to Jason after wallace told Yarrick and a cover up started. However the scene depicted between Wallace and Yarrick talking about the video evidence was at Jasons memorial. Helen was listening to the conversation via rhe microphone she had placed in the flower as a remebrance to Jason. Or am i getting confused somewhere?
@deshtyanerlangga864410 күн бұрын
Same here, what triggered Trent to follow Phillip? From what I understand Trent was alarmed due to Yarrick went to the Clarks to tell that theyve been compromised because of Wallace confronted him, but it was after all the killing
@emperorboss55578 күн бұрын
At the memorial Wallace was accusing Yarrick of Jason’s death because he knew that shortly after he told yarrick jason and the others turned up dead.
@TheBermudavirus8 күн бұрын
I getting that but if you losten to what Reed said as she explains it she states that Yarrick got involved with the Clarkes after Wallace confronts him and has that conversation. It makes it sound like that conversation caused the series of events that led to Jasons death. Maybe I just misunderstood it but I keep watching the explanation by Reed and my brain keeps interpreting it as being a blip in the time line.
@ThomasR-ez1fs5 күн бұрын
Yes, that is how she states it. Wallace confronted Yarrick about the journalist’s (Bray) accusation about he recording. Yarrick tips off the Clarks and Trent follows Bray (or has him followed) where he discovers Maggie and Jason when they all meet. And discovers Helen when she meets Jason afterwards. That’s how Trent knows all of the players so he can have them killed. And as you note, the confrontation between Wallace and Yarrick happens at Jason’s memorial, blowing up the timeline. I thought it was odd that Wallace waited to confront Yarrick until they were in public at a memorial. I guess they needed a way for Helen to over hear it, though why she would think anyone would be talking about anything worth while at the memorial is beyond me. 0:09

The last two episodes I was distracted by wanting Michael to get that mediocre man out of his life! He gave Sam way too many second chances. I was starting to question Michael’s self-esteem!
@thiphan65154 күн бұрын
It was kinda annoying how obsessed she was with him when she had a loving husband at home with beautiful family. Also didn’t like the ending, poor Sam gave up everything and pretty sure they will get revenge and kill him and Michael etc. it should have been her and then with her becoming the First Lady she will have lots of protection so they can’t get to her.

I am totally baffled why they stick this gay sub storyline in this and almost every other popular show coming out these days. Having to endure, watching him have sodomy sex with another individual who we just met and also a protracted amount of time spent with his gay London, Friends has nothing to do with understanding his character. It’s just gratuitous. It’s just filler. And in a sho that purports to be some serious, you know spy drama this kind of fluff is not only common but unnecessary and unwelcome.

During the show I get so confused about the actions of Sam. The most hooked character of the show. He is an extremely emotional but he also has the capacity to kill. The most dangerous yet highly friendly character. Remember before going to kill he met his friends. It is like he says he has some kind of values thay dont match killer persona has. It is like evil and angel at the same time. He run the show🎉

I find it interesting that the entertainment shows love interracial couples. Even in drama the interracial couples don't want to live in a brown or black environment. Even the african ex-boyfriend's surrogate daughter is light skin.
