Spectra one and spectra, when importing pages there shoul be option to import styles too, whitout styles,fonts imported layouts look completely different and it takes time to fix everything.

Spectra one theme. How to set up both: transparent and sticky header? Header should be always sticky, but at start should be transparent, then on scroll down should get color. Can you add this option?

Wish I could use ZipWP with Elementor. When i try to edit it with Elementor, it's all in one text-editor-widget.

Sorry, I’m still confused. Beginner starting profesional magazine style website. Should the theme be Astra Pro or Spectra One? Should I use Spectra Pro on top of Astra Pro or Spectra One? Should I use the Elementor integration? I just invested in the Business toolkit lifetime deal - but am close to cancelling due to this confusion. You seem to almost warn against using Spectra as a beginner - which is not the vibe I get from people like Jamie Marsland. And who wants to build a future based on archaic technology (petrol cars)??

No worries, let's take it point by point :) - at this point in time, Astra Pro will give you the most solid experience as Spectra One is in its infancy - if you use Spectra / Spectra Pro as your Visual Website Builder, you don't need to use Elementor - I think you meant "Spectra One" (the theme) when you say we advise it for more advanced users? That is because it requires a bit more knowledge and some options are just not there yet - regarding the analogy to technology, it's impossible at this point to accurately predict which technology will prevail. At the end of the day the market will decide. Just like some platforms are technologically superior to WordPress, but WordPress was chosen by the market and as such stays the leader.

Thank you for answering. You are right, I meant Spectra One (the theme). So I will avoid that. This question remains: If I use Spectra Pro on top of Astra Pro, will I be using the block editor (Gutenberg)? If not, what’s the point of adding Spectra Pro on top of Astra Pro? As for the car analogy, it probably causes extra confusion here in Northern Europe (Denmark), where most people see no future at all for non-electric cars. :)

Sorry but to use unlimited add ons you still need to use Elementor no? or it works with just Spectra Pro? You sell a pack with Unlimited Elements and I have to go to another company to use it? @@BrainstormForce

I bought spectra pro and I think there are only a few things added. There is still little dynamic content in many places. Dynamic content is missing in basic things. :( For example icon list has no dynamic content

Thank you for your purchase! Many things to come with Spectra Pro (but it has to be tested and will only be released when the lights are green). In the meantime Spectra pro already comes with: - Popup Builder - Loop Builder - Pro blocks like Instagram feed - Login/register blocks - Image gallery - Countdown timer - Pro features to existing blocks - Global block styles Dynamic content will come to the icon lists, but as of right now, even without it, Spectra Pro allows you to create full functioning dynamic websites :)

@@BrainstormForce I have wp astra pro and extended my license with spectra pro because I needed dynamic content. Of what you mentioned, I only use Loop Builder. I'm waiting for the dynamic content feature to be extended to more blocks.

Why zipwp still uses astra? And not spectra one? When will we be able to import starter templates to spectra one the same way it works with astra (styles and all settings)?

Because at the moment, the majority of WP users still choose & use classic themes, and Astra is a more mature product than Spectra One at this stage. But we are excited about the futre.

ZIPWP - maybe during site creation offer one extra option use Astra / Spectra . As for starter templates and importing layouts/pages - during import system should detect if Spectra or Astra theme is active and based on that you could import everything the way it should work and look. At this moment, you have to go change all the colors / fonts and all the other settings if you are using Spectra...Other than that nice products :)

Is Spectra only for SpectraOne? If not how well does the Spectra plugin operate within the Astra theme?

No Spectra is completely compatible with any WordPress theme :)

At 5.14 you say go to "Appearance" and "Editor". I do not have "Editor" as a menu option under "Appearance".🤨🤔

You only get the "Editor" option is you are using a WordPress "Block" Theme, like Spectra One.

Basic marketing mistakes. Spectra One should have been called Spectra. Two themes - Astra and Spectra Block plugin - Spectra One and Spectra Pro This would have made more sense.

Can you use Spectra, Astra, and Builder Beaver simultaneously? I got Spectra bundled with Astra Pro. I was wondering if Spectra worked with the other programs or is it unnecessary?

Very good question! Having more than one page builder can slow down your website and create undesired effects. It's better to choose one and stick to it. You can always recreate your Beaver Builder pages with Spectra :)

So if I use Spectra with Unlimited add ons I have to add Elementor and and it will slow down my website. and thats the pack you sell? I should just go with Elementor Pro and Unlimited add ons and the website will be faster right? @@BrainstormForce

Can you use them simultaneously? Probably. Should you? Categorically - No. :) Imagine a car with 2 independent steering wheels, it would be a night mare for 2 people to try steer the car, same with using multiple page builders etc.

As of now, ZipWP only works with Astra as its in early stages. Meanwhile, Starter Templates has both the options - Spectra One as well as Astra

If I could recap, as im still very confused and been running in circles i think... So i am using Astra Theme, and have the Spectra Editor I am however not able to touch the Header and Footer layout etc through Spectra, and have to use Astra dashboard, is that correct? Under appearance i do not have an editor, only Themes File editor, and that brings me to the coding page Also Appearances > Menu, doesnt show any pages, whereas Dashboard Pages are present Its like im editing 2 different websites and have no idea how to glue them together or where im going/focussing wrong... Anyone would have any insights in this? Nothing like the feel of being a complete newbie and trying to learn things 😅☺🙏

Yes, if you want to edit the Header and Footer then you have to edit them through Dashboard>Appearance>Customizer>Header Builder/Footer Builder. Appearances> Menu, you have to create a menu there first and then you will be able to assign pages on the Menu.

Ah. At 7.49 the mists clear - a little -.as it turns out you called a web builder "Spectra" (which is what was automatically installed with the Astra theme); then, inexplicably, you decided to call an alternative theme "Spectra One". And you wonder why people are confused. As a newbie to all this, I am completely flummoxed as to which of your three products to make fairly simple, small websites.

Thank you for your feedback. It is important as it helps us understand new users better. Spectra (Website Builder) and Spectra One (Block theme) are indeed 2 different products, but at this point, Spectra One maybe more challenging for a newbie, than "Astra" (Classic theme). @@BrainstormForce Thank you for youre reply. I really don't know why you don't rebrand them to make it clearer. Re using Astra, I use a template 9nice) but then am not able to actually edit text with just that so I have to use Spectra anyway (I guess?). And then I don't get the same screen options in the right hand sidebard as you do at 8.13. Honestly you seem to have great products but there is just too much overlap.

Spectra is slowing down my website … it’s pretty slow giving lot of code in background while elementor feels lite

The issue may lie elsewhere as Spectra is based on the WordPress Core Block Editor and adds very minimal code to it, especially when compared to any third party website builders that add a complete new layer of code on top of the WordPress Core.
