There is an irl case where this guy keeps his daughter in a makeshift bunker/basement thing and she ends up having multiple of his children. Some of them, got to go upstairs and live a normal life, but some of the others would die from neglect since she had to have the babies in the basement with little help. She luckily got out one time when her child was sick and dying, and she managed to convince her “father” to take them to the hospital.

3:13 I wish they had corrected the common myth that teenager girls are at the most fertile point in their lives. The early cycles during teen years often release eggs that aren't that great compared to women in their twenties which means more miscarriages and complications, and they are by far at the highest risk of pregnancy and childbirth-related injuries, permanent disability, and death. The most fertile window including quality and consistent release of eggs and more importantly the wellbeing of mother and child for most, with other factors causing variations, starts around 24.

The perp is a sick one, especially since he's so charismatic, to prey on young girls, and can manipulate others into this sick scheme of his. It's really sad, especially those girls who are lost in their own way only to further be abused for a sick man's crock theory.
@elliephantom5 ай бұрын
that's the job of a cult leader. be charismatic enough to manipulate anyone into doing anything you want. like the guy said "Jim Jones got his followers to drink poison Kool-Aid." people think you have to be stupid to get tangled into a cult, but you don't. you just need to be suseptible to certain manipulative tactics, and even geniuses can get roped in. cults prey on insecurities, mostly, but also use love bombing, help with trauma, unkeepable promises... anything they can say or do to gain what they want; a following. and looking at it that way, you can even call social media and fame a cult; with the promise of money, friendship, and love/adoration from everyone everywhere so many people fall into a cult-like mindset about it.

When the body of a murdered 14-year-old girl is discovered in a back alley, Detective Benson and Stabler discover the victim was a missing Pennsylvania teenager believed to have been kidnapped eight months earlier. It's discovered that, as a result of having no food and water for nearly a week, she developed a blood clot in her left lung that killed her. Ultimately its discovered she's part of a cult led by Doctor Garrett Lang to supposedly clone dead babies, while he really impregnates the girls with his own children. The head of the place she was living, Paula Haggerty initially plans to go down for the girl's death to protect Lang, but another of the girls convinces her to help them put him away for good.
