Ended up getting a narrowed beam. which has fixed the problem, but certainly wasn't a cheap fix!

@@whereswoz im trying to figure out what tire size to use. What is your tire size? I'm using dropped spindles with no adjusters and want to make sure I have clearance but don't want a huge fender gap.

@@SanDiego_VDubLife i'm using 175/65/15 if you can, might be best to fit the spindles and then look at what tyre fits with that. My problem was that because i had adjusters i couldn't set the beam to standard and then go down on spindles (if that makes sense) so it ended up to low. Looked cool but was un-driveable!

where did you end up getting the drop spindles and brake conversion?. also did the bolt pattern change when you changed out the rotors?

Dropped spindles came from VW Heritage along with the brakes. I kept the same bolt pattern.
