Do you have any plans to make a video for upgrading the brake lines to SS?

Great video👌😉.. Loved the first music track on your tutorial too . Did you put new brake pistons in or did you just clean them. 👍👍

Thanks so much for the nice comment. I reused pistons. They were in fine shape. I also reused rear brake pads as they were fine

I was wondering where did you purchase your pads from?

Thank you for your great video but allow to say it is better to use compressed air to remove the caliper pistons.
@Wrenchie4 жыл бұрын
Yes. I did that but I popped one piston out and that was it. How do you push all four out evenly???
@iliasatomo73624 жыл бұрын
@@Wrenchie For the two pistons(as you separate the brake caliper) . When you popped the first piston, use a piece of wood and a piece of rubber under the wood, holding with a locking Plier Clamp, the hole of the first piston - close any other hole by hand!
@Wrenchie4 жыл бұрын
@@iliasatomo7362 Hmmm.. so the wood and rubber are to seal up the cylinder with the piston popped out... that is, to make a seal so the compressed air can push out the other piston? Is that what you mean?
@iliasatomo73624 жыл бұрын
@@WrenchieYes! I use this method when i change the pistons O-rings at my old z1000 (2004), before you must undo the bolts that hold the two pieces of brake calipers as i see at your video. watch out not to use so much air pressure because the second piston will fly away
@Wrenchie4 жыл бұрын
@@iliasatomo7362 Ahhh..... OK, I think that makes sense. I guess the trick is to get the rubber to seal enough to build pressure to push out the other piston. I'll keep that tip filed away for next time! Thanks Ilias!
