Brake fluid change & bleeding on a Mk2 Golf using Gunson Eezibleed

I use my Gunson's Eezi Bleed to bleed the brakes after a brake fluid change on the Mk2 VW Golf.
This is a service item that should be carried out every 2 to 3 years on most cars, and is often overlooked, so I show you how I do it with some inexpensive tools and not a lot of time. It makes a massive difference to how the car drives.

Brilliant thanks for this, another video that fell into the category of " i need mine done, i wonder if endfloat has a tutorial.. " :D Seems this eezibleed kit is cheap enough in Halfords, UK so may pick one up and get started. If the back end is on stands, is the bias thing easy enough to find/sort?

Heads up Ross, 10 psi on the ezbleed for older cars. Story: She was taking the Toyota to the car-wash today, oh that's handy hang on a minute, I deflated my spare. Ask the guy to put 10 psi in it. Five times I told her!! Off she goes, I got everything set out. Back she comes, I grabs the wheel and attaches it to the bottle. A vertical jet of Dot 4 from the master cylinder. Quickly disconnect. Must have been about 30psi in the tyre, I never checked. Did you ask the guy to put 10 psi in it? Yes, told him what you were doing. Probably for the best as it turns out. There must be a tiny hole on the master cylinder. I'll get a new one!

It actually specifies 20psi for the eezibleed. I tried 30psi once and it made an awful mess! That's a strange one having a hole in the master cylinder. There's way more than 30psi in it when you put your foot on the brake!

I've just fitted a servo on my Morris Minor and yes while bleeding I did kick over the jar of fluid 🤬

He had that "Really? Please don't do that, lad" look on his face when his son tapped the bonnet with that massive wrench. Pretty close call to scratching the paint on that very well looked after car. Phew! 🤦‍♂
