Brake Light Not Working on Harley Davidson Evo 1996 Bad Boy FXSTSB Springer

I have a 1986 Sporty, All the lights work no problem. When I hit the brake with my foot it lights up, when I squeeze the hand break I get nothing... I tore the lever apart sprayed contact cleaner... ect ect... Anywhere i should look immediately to solve the problem?

I don’t know that bike well enough. I would look up a wire diagram and follow the wires. Look for the front brake switch and confirm you are getting power in and out. Good luck!
