BRAKE RENDERING TEST OF MOORING WINCH

This video is about Mooring Winch - Brake Rendering Test that is normally carried out on board.
Each winch brakes should be tested after completion of any modification or repair involving the winch brakes, renewal of brake lining, or upon any evidence of unexpected rendering or wear. The results of tests should be carefully documented and filed on board.

Youre not doing the rendering test properly...it shud show that the brakes will render or slips at a given load base on 60% force of SDMBL..
