Watching your videos is like being a kid again, watching my dad and uncle tearing apart old cars they bought, refurbished then sold, or watching them build their race cars from the ground up, so cool,

I know. This was a hit or miss project; that is until we got the engine working.

Those painted caliper brackets & calipers look really nice. I need to get some of that spray paint

You can use heat resistant engine paint. No need to spend extra on fancy, custom caliper paint.

Looking forward to the brake fluid flush. I plan to do mine after I do my brakes/rotors, and I'm interested in your method :)

Another great video and brake job. Can you please help if these Raybestos EHT pads will have minimum dust like Akebono or other Ceramics. Haven't used them before. Thanks for your advice.

So far no complaints on the EHT's except for the pad shims. They seem to move around when I apply brake grease between it and the pads. I applied a product called CRC Brake Pad Quiet between them and seems to be holding up very well. It's hardens to a RTV like texture. Recently tried out another pad called Centric PQ Pro. Very impressed with the smooth, quiet and great stopping performance.

Thanks. They're called Raybestos EHT (Enhanced Hybrid Technology). Was trying other inexpensive alternative brake pads to Akebono (the most expensive) and my customer's have been very happy with its performance. A link to the pads is provided in the "Show More" text description of this video.

NICE TO SEE SOMEONE WHO USES GLOVES FOR PROTECTION. ARE YOU USING EYE PROTECTION. IF NOT START NOW! SHOULD HAVE TAKEN OFF THE CALIPER. IT WOULD BE EASIER. GOOD JOB. KEEP EM COMING!

I used eye protection on a need be basis. Using gloves in the summer time is difficult. Too much perspiration build up in the glove ... streams of sweet leaking out of the gloves and getting on everything.
