Hi, i am 22 and i have definitely been there throughout my 15-20 ages. But hey, i promise it can get better. Even if everything keeps staying shitty, your mindset will change over time and it will become more managable. Please, please give yourself some time to settle into your life and take control of it. And i know the numbness all too well but i also know it can go away. It know it sounds stupid but if you push yourself to do things and to socialize and to eat and to keep it together for a while, you start getting used to it again and it becomes a healthy habit eventually. If you have bad friends, don't waste your time with them. If people hurt you, let them know you are hurt and hear people if they say you hurt them. Also, from personal experience, i think depression comes in waves. You feel down for a long while, then it feels like it gets better. Then you get hit again and every single time it feels like it suffocates you more and more. But by noticing your own patterns and going against them, you can spread the distance of those waves. Eventually, good times can become longer than the bad ones. Even to a point that sometimes you won't even remember that you were depressed at some point. And if you learn how to cope in a healthy way, no matter how hard it hits you, you will stay on top. I know you don't need a random stranger's advice on the internet but i hope you don't give up on yourself and i hope it gets better for you as well.
