The rear cylinders were seized with rust, which made disassembly difficult. I let PB Blaster penetrating fluid soak overnight then used channel locks to gradually work the pistons out. To remove external rust, I used a wire brush on a drill and emery paper. To clean the bore, I used wire tube brush then flushed with clean brake fluid. The bleed screws were rusted closed. I used a stiff wire, more PB Blaster and compressed air to clear it. I used a thread tap and die to clean the threads.

You probably don't want to put it together dry...

Good point. When assembling brake parts, you should lube the parts with clean brake fluid.
