I wholeheartedly agree with that . Quite the visionary, and she had an eye for both beauty and fine details. No wonder she got the award . Being set in Victorian times , one would need an eye for both beauty and detail . Those costumes were really amazing.

She was right. Oscar (the statue) is the most beautifully designed man on this planet. Simple yet masculine physique. Ishioka had an eye for style and elegance.

My biggest dream is to be buried in Lucy Westenraa‘s wedding / death gown in the design of Eiko Ishioka. I love this dress to death - the costumes of this movie are amazing and this oscar is truly deserved.
