1. Yaksha/Yakshi are not "mythical". The are just another life form that exist parallel to our "physical" reality. 2. Kuber or "laughing buddha" , the "god" of wealth is the king of Yaksha/Yakshi. 3. Yaksha/Yakshis are mostly benevolent beings (much like humans) but their bad karma can turn them into evil beings and they usually become forest sprits. 4. There are many Yaksha and Yakshis who have become saints and enlightened beings (much like humans). 5. Seeking the favor of Yakshini like Pramoda, and Rati Priya can grant your immediate wealth, those seeking Mahamaya Yakshini can get youthful looks. 6. Seeking Ratna Kambala Yakshi can grant you minor telekinesis power, etc. There are Tantras that teach how to engage with yakshas and Yakshis. Its a ignorant misconception that they "drink blood". The evil one's might kill you just like an evil man will kill you for no reason or for pleasure.

The Kerala Folklore has varied approach regarding the Character "Yakshi" is a supernatural entity often portrayed as a seductive and dangerous spirit. Rooted in local myths and legends, Yakshis are believed to be the spirits of women who died untimely or unjust deaths, particularly due to betrayal or violence. These spirits, unable to find peace, linger in the earthly realm seeking revenge or fulfillment by seducing unsuspecting Men in the Night and luring them to Devour them till they leave only traces... You need to check out stories of famous Yakshis from Kerala to understand the context,,, example Kalliyankaattu Neeli, Chottanikkara Yakshiamma, Churuli Yakshi...
