A second circular tour, with Kit, enjoyed some lovely wooded tracks and a visit to the old Bramley and Wonersh station on the Cranleigh Line. Great weather, good chat and company resulted in a most enjoyable day out with Kit.

What a lovely and interesting walk. I am thinking how much I would enjoy the leafy green inland scenery, instead of the wild and rugged Welsh coastline where I live. But then again......🙄

I do rather prefer the mountains and there aren't many (any.....) in Surrey. The Downs don't quite count although they are lovely. I have to videos filmed in the Brecons to post up over the next few weeks. Look out for them. Cheers, W :)

A lot of that is very familiar, Bramley, Wonersh and Blackheath are places I know very well. It was great to see the route you took. A nice relaxing video. Good job 👍

Yeah, I had a bit of a laugh with my mate. Did you catch the ghost train? You won't have done if your volume was too low. Have you seen the earlier video about "north Downs Way" etc? All just for fun!

From the video’s title, it’s a shame that there wasn’t more footage of the actual Cranleigh line, I used to cycle along the Cranleigh to Bradley/Wonersh part of the route about 25 years ago and was looking forward to seeing what it was like nowadays.

With the limit of characters in the title box I couldn’t explain that it was a circuit route and included parts of each path. I plan to re-visit the whole line path next year though! Thanks for following along, and your feedback. Cheers. Warren. 🤠

@@Linleys ahhh I can understand that. I watched the whole thing as I knew all the other places well too, I was taken on ‘Sunday afternoon walks’ along the line in the 70’s 80’s, but that really wasn’t long after it closed, then cycled further as I grew up and watched the path narrow in places over the years, but was interested to see how overgrown the trackbed now is. I’ll look forward to the update video.
