If they had shown this properly, and really hinted at Bran being The Bad Guy, and actually let Bran have a personality as well, I would have enjoyed Seasons 7 and 8 a whole lot more.
@Caborrrl Жыл бұрын
It was not so much that he's the bad guy, which he isn't, or that he had a plan, which he really doesn't, but more like that he was predestined to become the king. The destination was fine, the way we ended up was nonsense.
@zxylo786 Жыл бұрын
@Caborrrl Nah. Bran is literally the bad guy here. He let hundreds of thousands to die and sent his brother who he knows is the rightful king to f off to the wall.

bran becoming king in the books in a similar fashion would be really morbid and fitting, especially if he is really bloodraven aka Brynden Rivers puppeteering his body. Problem is the show barely gives us scenes with bran and rarely gives us glimpses of what he is thinking or why and is too afraid to depict him as the evil shit he ended up being. Same problem the show had with Dany, they would play her up as a messiah and show her and her decisions in a heroic positive light way more than the books do.

Have fans learnt nothing about game of thrones lol? There are no heroes/good guys
@ilikemitchhedberg2 жыл бұрын
So this compilation has me fully convinced that the 3 eyed raven took over Bran's body (I am not the lord of winterfell) (i am not his brother) and manipulated events ( like littlefinger, but on a much larger scale) in order to win the game of thrones
@becka5378 Жыл бұрын
"I am not his brother" is true though for Bran...Bran and Jon were cousins by birth..."I'm not the lord of winterfell" could be argued, but not the brother thing
@ilikemitchhedberg Жыл бұрын
@@becka5378 yes, but the term 'brother' also applies here. For instance, children call their adoptive parents 'mother' and 'father.'

The Children of the Forest's hive mind retaking Westeros from men through a powerful warg with royal blood as their puppet. I think this is what GRRM intended by that ending, but I don't think D&D realized that's what it meant & so didn't portray it nearly as well as your edit has here. As always, amazing work!

Probably closer to how George will allegedly do it in the books.

If they had used this approach it would have been a much better ending. At least it would have made more sense than the one we got.

The funny thing is, Bran being an evil manipulator would work, if only the writers had shown us what an abominable person the previous Three-Eyed-Raven used to be and if only they had thought about a relationship between him and Bran that could have influenced Bran insofar that Bran himself could become evil and despicable. All they needed was more time, which they had plenty of, but I guess there is more important stuff than honoring the biggest pop-cultural phenomenon of the 2010's, and a very intelligent and thought provoking one at that. It is painful, depressing and traumatizing, and it is quite fitting that it got proceeded by a global pandemic outbreak.

Thing is, he’s not even evil. He just know the eventuality of things that will happen and helps play it along.
@cald14212 жыл бұрын
It’s a highly disturbing thought and so many different ways it could be true. It could be bran became a cold, heartless Machiavellian. Or worse. Bran is possessed, mind controlled as the new host for Bloodraven, an innocent boy stuck under the spell of an evil sorcerer

bran knew jon was rightful heir then he decided to claim he was dornish bastard and then sam revealed truth and then bran changed his plan into sending jon away. tyrion said to jon our new king needs to make peace. ıt was bran's decision to send jon away, keeping out of him to throne. when unsilleds go to naath he could bring jon back but we know he wouldn't.
