I loved this teaching today!!! I absolutely agree we need to give and be involved with our Church and being grateful for what we have and to share with ones less unfortunate! I may not be rich but I'm happy!! Blessings Branch Together!🙏🙏

I love to tithe, but I love also giving to a specific person/family that I feel God leads me to. I ask Him to show me, and He does. There's Never a doubt when He shows me where that need is. I grew up always with Everything I needed, later in life after my children were born, there were some tough days financially. I counted a lot of pennies from payday to payday, but God always provided. It truly is a Joy, to relieve the burden of another person.

Thank you for these bible studies! Helps me understand the bigger picture going through the whole books. Instead of studies randomly through the Bible.

1- the macedonian christians were under extreme financial affliction, yet out of their poverty, financed paul in his ministry, even at corinth. 2- They gave beyond their ability(sacrificial giving). The idea here is God has given us the grace to RECEIVE. Therefore, there is the equal grace to GIVE. It is NOT TRUE that nothing will be left if we give. 3- they were cheerful givers . This is amazing grace because the natural man withholds and if and when he gives, it is grudgingly given. 4-they begged , implored paul to be contributors to help the poor saints .The grace to do this is amazing. Experiencing a deeper walk with God make us desire INVOLVEMENT in His work. 5-the macedonian christians first gave themselves to the Lord. With God taking first place in their LIVING, the result was their generous GIVING to others. Why wait to be financially rich before giving when the gift of giving already makes us richer in our everyday living? True living is loving. We can give without loving, but we cannot love without giving.

I truly believe in giving generously. God blesses us so that we can bless others through Him. I am very disconnected from my church. It is very wealthy and vain in its excess. It does give to good discipleships but it always have special offerings for these gifts. The pastor makes $200k annually. I live in a small rural community. I have lost faith in most non profits because so much is spent on administrative costs and so little for the actual good work. How do we without a church give without hurting or offending God (I think it’s offensive to give to my church). I believe that Paul set the example well but since I live in such a rural area my resources are limited to regards to a church to belong to.

Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and "Increase the Harvest of Righteousness" Thus you will be enriched in every way for all generosity (Love deeds, esteeming another above i-me monkey), ("In His Righteousness" remember Him Jesus who knew, committed zero sin while here in the flesh in babelville Became sin, He was made sin for us that we may become His Righteousness He Loves and accepts us even as He Loves and accepts Jesus - "Righteousness") which produces Thanksgiving to The Father (In Him, Righteousness) through us.

I have a small issue with how you started out today. Mentioning that you don't like to talk about giving because people in the church think churches are all about the money. You aren't wrong in the sense of how thing often appear. But it's important to share the whole Bible. If we hurt somebody's feelings, so be it. We can't just preach on the topics that people like.

In the context of the local church we absolutely should teach our people generosity!
