Just purchased mine. It will arrive in June 2022. I hear alot of bad feedback regarding the look of the back. I actually love the back. It looks amazing like the m8. What's is not to love about this car? I think the people that talk bad is because they can't afford it

Great video mate! Nice to see a genuine review. I've ordered mine with every pack, in storm bay. I didn't feel the sunroof was worth the extra 1k in my opinion compared to other manufacturers which offer a full panoramic sunroof for less. Don't beat yourself up about it, especially with the amazing weather 🤔lol.

Thanks man, a lot of reviews out there that would put someone of this car for the simple reason its FWD bias and not a 6 cylinder. All the packs are a good choice, I don't think I could live without any of the packs now I have them. Especially the HUD. Storm Bay goes nicely with the black accents on the car. Yea the sunroof wouldn't get used much in the UK. A nice thought haha.

Got mine in mid May too and I absolutely love it! I agree with your assessment, if you approach this car with an open mind it is a great all round choice. With the adaptive suspension it rides smoothly enough in comfort mode. I've only done 600 miles in mine so far, the majority of that on motorway runs, but I do a fair amount of short local runs (London - so plenty of traffic) too. I'm averaging 37.8 mpg overall so far. I got an excellent deal from Barretts in Ashford, Kent so very happy with that side of things too.

Hey Rex. Nice to hear youre enjoying yours also. I've done 1k in mine now so almost ready to do a few launches :) I am averaging about 19mpg urban because my area is super hilly, and about 32mpg combined so its not so bad. Tbh it feels like any other bmw, I don't notice the FWD bias and prefer the AWD.

Bee-u-Ti-Ful! Absolutely love this car. I plan on getting one in 2025 when my a class is up, I cant wait, they are going dirt cheap currently for a 2021/2022 with less than 30k miles so hopefully in another 6 months theyll be even less again. Bmw service plan and your away!

I love my BMW, and good to see a positive review for our car. Mine is the 228, but I still love it and it fits my needs for a sporty city car. I also live on an island so high acceleration is hard with the low speed limits. Nice video, thank you! I almost got the M235, but the color was far from my favorite. In a couple years, I can pass this one to the wife and upgrade.

i love this car and thinking to get one . Like you say, many of the reviews out there put you off this seems really genuine. Do you still have the car? How do you find it now? Do you find it too rough for urban driving? Any problems with the space in the cabin since it's a bit tinier? How's the noise insulation in the cabin?

Seems to be a popular area for 2 series GC owners! I get 27mpg now after 2.5k miles. Its creeping up but the hilly area does not help much.

I personally would have gone for the magma leather with pan roof and dropped the comfort pack to lighten up the interior

Good choices.....Tbh I had not seen the magma in person until after I had ordered the car and then decided I liked it. But yes I wish I had taken a sun roof. I am not a huge leather fan and my original order had alcantara and the car was white. BMW cocked it up and a week before delivery in April they told me it wasn't coming. So they offered me a cancelled order that had leather, the comfort pack and black paint for no extra cost if I wanted to get my car in May. Otherwise I would have to wait til July/August and I had already been waiting since January. I knew there were also supply issues so I took it before I ended up with nothing! But yes if I was to order again, I would definitely take the sunroof and the magma leather.

In 200 miles (1000 miles) I'll do a video on my running costs. I'm averaging 22mpg but I do very little motorway driving. On motorway runs I've had 35-40mpg. Comfort pack I use quite alot but if I had to choose any 2 packs. I'd get the tech and pro packs.

If you’ve not got PCP try a resonator delete, might give you the sound you’re looking for! If you do that definitely upload a video

You get lots of adjustment options with the electric seats. I'm not that tall and have no problem finding a good driving position.

Do you have any security features for your car? I am taking delivery of my M235i GC in a couple of months and plan to get a steering wheel lock along with a ghost immobiliser to stop it from being relayed etc...

Hey Jack. You'll love your M235I GC. I have a steering wheel lock myself and also looking into a tracker. It's amazing with all the new technology around, a piece of metal with a padlock on it seems one of the best deterrents. I disabled the comfort access so it doesn't automatically unlock when I get within a few feet. Not sure if that means it cannot be relayed.

What are the difference between front wheel and Xdrive?

Hey Kings. Xdrive is basically AWD. So power can be transferred to all the wheels on the car. But it is front wheel bias, rather than rear wheel as most BMW's are.

Hey Darren. The ride can get a little hard, n UK roads anyway. I would definitely get the adaptive suspension or the 18 inch wheels if comfort is your thing. I think the car is fine for 2 kids in the back. 3 is probably pushing it a little. If you have booster / car seats they would generally overlap the middle seat leaving little room. If non are in seats, it might be fine. A 4 series gran coupe is the same price and has much more room. Best thing would be to pop to a dealership and try one out.

Hey, its not particularly noisy even with the 19 inch wheels. I'd go as far as saying that I don't notice road any road noise or knockings in the cabin at all.
