The two engines in the lead were really clean -- like just through the rebuild wash rack . Very nice. Love the transition in the beginning!

@@RailfanRowan NSDash-9 is showing a rebuild date of 10/2019 for 4248, and 9/2019 for 4250. If you shot it in Dec/Jan, probably not the first post-rebuild run, but awfully close. Keep up the excellent work!

Nice initial catch of this train. The engines looked like they were straining to make the grade in the first scene. You were lucky to get rid of that slow traffic when you went to chase the train at another location. Thank you for sharing this video with us!

Yeah, but that is to be expected on back farm road sometimes...! In hindsight I should have not tried to catch it more than three times I should have bypassed the second attempt

Wow those are some shiny locomotives. I’m not a huge fan of NS but I’ll be damned if I don’t like brand new shiny things from any company. I’m a huge CSX fan and really like the older paint schemes. I’ve seen footage from the 90s when those engines looked shiny and new. But I was born 10 years to late to see them brand new.

Ref;those signals were ex-PRR,modified to B&O,color light,and they were originally set up,as position light( all lunar white)! Duplicated upper quadrant semaphores,and had the lower he ad,for interlockings. The Long Island still has a couple left,but you've got to know where,as there is a lot of resignalling going on! Also the CP,designator,was a NYC invention! CP,is control point,as in interlocking,and were manned towers at one time! The New Haven used SS,as signal station,on their towers!
