I live thr apogee vs their older model. The accuracy is night and day. Only donw side is i wish it had more metrics like aoa etc

Not always because backspin may be right by side spin could be slightly off

RCT balls are for radar but they have extra logos so they work well with apogee too

Did you feel like the swing speed was a bit high? I played on an apogee last week and it was reading 10 mph higher than my Garmin with my driver.

I would say it varied more than was high. The other night driver was pretty spot on for me. I would say the clubs speed varying isn't a deal breaker for me because it's pretty close and all the ball metrics are exactly what I would want. It is interesting though that club path and face angle seem so accurate but club speed varies. The thing that doesn't make me to surprised though is nearly every camera based LM i've tested is bad with club speed (besides foresight)

Hey there - looking at the Apogee and it doesn't look like it comes with a drop mount ? What mount did you use to drop it from the ceiling in your space? Thanks for the review!

Would balls like the TP5 Pix or the callaway chromsoft ( soccer ball) help with reading? My thought is with so many logos on the ball it might make it easier for friends to just plop a ball down knowing there will likley always be a logo in view for the system to track

Apparently those do not work well and confuse it. I believe it needs different logos in each quadrant. So like Titleist on both sides, the alignment aid, then if they can add like apogee and golfbusters for instance all would be covered and different.

Apogee won’t work with gspro unfortunately. It works with apex and e6

@@GolfBusters Ya :) I just tend to look at my stats per club and such on the portal for tracking purposes. Unless im crazy and doesnt matter. Thanks for the review too. I actually tend to play e6 more than gspro. Seems to work alot better with my mevo+. I am tempted to sell it and get the apogee now , especially with apex coming out.

Would be cool to see something on the e6 apex! I have it downloaded on my computer but can't play yet with my mevo+. I do however see the icon for it in dark gray in the launch monitor section so this tells me it's coming soon! Can't wait!

Will have to put them head to head! E6 apex looks amazing and I think it’s the same as the uneekor accuracy wise but it has more features, my guess is better than the protee but haven’t got a chance to test that one yet

@@GolfBusters AOA is so important in club head data, not sure why you think that would be minor. Being tied into e6 just like TM being tied to VG is a con to me for sure. I also don't understand why people think putting on the sim is a waste of time I have improved my putting on the course immensely since I have owned a sim that can putt well. Most people that say that putting is not worth it normally own radar units

@@soupy01833is attack angle an important stat? I’m relatively new to golf but on Trackman sim sessions it seems me to be one of the easiest stats to know by feel (rarely if ever do the stats differ from what i broadly expect). Would have thought it quickly becomes redundant for better golfers (vs being able to analyse a slo motion video of the swing to see the cause of any attack angle issues)
