I love the idea of Buccees coming closer to my home in Pennsylvania. My mom and I would watch videos like yours and wanted to go in person so bad. Mom was disabled and home bound so it was kinda impossible for that. She passed away in December. I opened the gifts she got me for Christmas and found a whole Buccees haul. She contacted a friend of ours to send us some stuff from Texas. One day I'm going to make it to Buccees for us both.

I grew up in Colorado so I can tell you about what you called the bolt of lightening. You are in an area of the USA where the humidity of very low so things are much dryer, especially in the winter. When you were a kid in the winter time, did you ever walk across a carpeted floor in your socks and touch someone and shock them, or pet your cat or dog and create static electricity? Colorado is so dry it is like that most of the year due to the dry climate.

The closest Buc-ee’s is the Richmond, KY location. Almost 3 hrs so the magic is still there for me. The Huber Heights, OH will soon be the closest. It’s still a day’s event to go for me, traveling almost an hour and saving some money for the seasonal merch is special in my mind. Roadtripping to go is super fun and it’s good that I can’t go to one all the time, I don’t think I’d ever get tired though of Buc-ee’s!!!
