Our brand spanking new 2019 Can-Am Defender XT HD8! This vehicle will be used to manage our kennel by running dogs in the spring and fall, grooming our trails with the Apache 360 LT Track system by Can-Am, and general chores around the property.
In my opinion, Can-Am makes some of the best off-road all season vehicles out there.
I had a front and rear glass windshield installed which does not come standard on the Defender XT.
Check it out, it's a pretty sweet machine!

You actually don't have to be stopped to change from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive, or visa versa. You can do it on the fly.

The can am 4x4 system allows for on the fly shifting from 2x4 to 4x4.

Power steering is great the XT model comes with it already installed.

Yes and no. Plenty of power in the HD8 next one will be HD10 Max cab.

I do not. I know that the 2021 cab models are quiter than previous years they added padding behind the seats.

I see. I'm not sure that's possible none of them have noise dampening inside the panels. The best you could do is a full enclosed cab. You'd have to talk louder than normal though.

How u think about the 800 compared to 1000 I heard 800 is more then enough.

I dunno seems the 800 has a lot of power and torque I haven't even opened it up yet as I never did with the Skandic 900 SWT. I think in a few years I'll upgrade to the HD10 full cab.
