A brand new Dalby disabled lift at the new Wren Kitchens store which is in the new part of the retail park which has been knocked down and rebuilt. The store units next to this shop in the new unit look like they are still in the process of building it.
Usually I don’t tend to ride platform lifts but since it is brand new (and because my former high school has one of these lifts) I gave it a ride. It is a pretty standard screw drive platform lift designed for wheelchair users. It is quite nice for a platform lift if I’m being honest, I like the fixtures and the lighting though it looks like the indicator and voice module glitched a bit when I got to ground because when the lift arrived at ground, it didn’t announce the ground floor and the indicator thought it was still moving downwards which was strange.
