Brand new for the S1 and E1 in theory. Of course it didn’t take these long to end up in Cheltenham on S2, a route which they are very appropriately specified for. NOT!
Anyhow… here is one of these new YX73s with full thrash, showing how they cope with all that thrashage along the A40. The next stop announcements appear to only be programmed for Curbridge to Oxford, something you may notice later in the video
Just in case anybody is confused, the S2 those SN69s were new for is not the same as today’s one, since the previous one was the 200 to Carterton via Wolvercote, Cassington Turn then Minster Lovell. Now it’s the former 853 to Cheltenham, new route 234 to Burford via Carterton fills in those gaps
