I always snubbed the G-Shocks as bulky, chunky digital watches, but as I've recently started my own watch collection, I've come to realise how much utility and innovation they've managed to fit into it, and as a designer, it pleases me a great deal to see them continuously explore materials and sizes. The 'Casioaks' specially have made a trend on their own and look tasty in metal. ❤️

I ordered the G-SHOCK GA2100-1A1 Men's Watch and I'm returning it, the measurements said they were 48mmx44mmx13mm and it was smaller then my 40mm Bulova watch that i used as a side by side reference. They need to change what they determine is watch size, so be careful.

These are all very impressive looking G Shocks indeed. But I find it kind of disapppointing that Casio is quite stingy about installing Tough Solar, Multiband 6 and Bluetooth in many of their rather expensive models. Obviously, they figure their looks alone will make them sell without them, which leaves me wanting for more

It's not a deal beaker for me. The DW5600E and 6900 can last for 10 years on a battery. Plus Casio knows the people who buy these watches aren't buying them for their features, just to add to their collections where they'll sit and collect dust.

Wishful thinking. Casio GS Oak style, Solar, Atomic, Bluetooth functions and notifications (like the GB-X6900B), double leds and good lumens…keep it under $500..

The RGB casioak for going out at night, and that newer metal casioak with cloth straps and positive display, never bothered with bluetooth anyways.

Need more bracelet bands. Also I have a white square face g shock that looks sophisticated but it's a g shock so it's bullet proof. Less is more maybe some metal, steel, titanium or whatever watches with less cluttered faces just dial, numbers(analog) and lcd but No tick marks and BS markers all over the place.

This. My most expensive watch, which cost ~$1000, actually gets the least wrist time. Not because it’s the most treasured, but ironically, it’s because I like it the least. It just doesn’t compare to my numerous G Shocks. In every way.

The Japanese rangeman model comes with a Carbon fibre band. The European model doesn't. That's why the Japanese model is more expensive.

To each their own, everybody likes what they like and individual taste is exactly what it is, individual taste. You do you. Having said that, WTF do those disgusting Adventure Gem watches have to do with the 40th Anniversary in any way shape or form other than being released in the same year as the 40th? Those things are fookin' ugly and will have the shelf life of a tuna fish sandwich in the fridge. After a few days you just throw it out rather than risk it. Now those 2100 Utility watches, one of those will end up in my collection, namely the 5C with the positive display. Still shaking my head at those clown show Gem things.

That Frogman is so bad imo, The concept is cool but the execution is straight up terrible, it looks like some frankenstein watch somebody customised and the band looks like you've been decorating and splashed it with paint.

I have to say that at least at first look, that wild looking Frogman is crazy cool; I like it! Over the long haul, maybe not, although it incorporates my favorite color combinations. Not a fan of the clear part of the bezel, however. Ah, it's all moot anyway, as the price is way out there. Guess I could always break out the Posca pens and grab one of my 5600's or other "G's" and have at it, LOL.

Got my first Casio G shock in 1987... I was a faithful G shock since that day ...but as the gene pool shallowed ... Nothing impressive has come along... Every watch they come out with has a major problem... No back light for date... No lume... No second hand... Useless data eyes that waste space for larger digits ... Hard uncomfortable plastics... Led instead of green electroluminescent... Hands blocking information... And I could go on ... But it seems like they don't think things through... Example.. king G gx56.... Big huge case but Tiny little digits??? The ol DW5600 is the best thing they made but has aged so much that it's tiny now...small digits... unreadable to 50 + guys... It pains me to say good bye to g shock .. but I bought a Casio AE1500 black out that was 21$ at Walmart that blows away any g shock in my opinion.... I also gave in to the smart watch revolution this year 2023 and bought a Garmin instinct tactical and where it 24/7 Times are changing... I never thought I'd say anything negative about Casio g shock watches but it had to be said.

I was a customer from 1983 and am not impressed with their watches over the years. Starting wearing reactor watches and now a Garmin instinct tactical...
