A preowned CW Trident was my first "nicer" watch when I decided I wanted to have something upmarket from the $200ish range. I have much pricier watches in my hoard now but still have 3 CW watches (Only G-Shock has more representation in my collection, admittedly by a lot) and a soft spot for the company in my heart

That negative display in a black watch would have been real nice looking.

I have a negative display 10-year-old rangeman that is harder to read now than when it was new. So I went with the Positive display on this one. Plus I don't like that little spinning Circle on the Rangeman which seems pretty useless and takes up space. I'm a cyclist and sometimes you want to see the time very quickly and with the negative display it's a drag.

I wish I could buy watches like this again but the Apple Watch spoiled me…

Won't buy a $500 seiko without sapphire.

Good review and yeah it's a solid looking watch with the lume being a nice unexpected bonus. Seriously considering this as my daily work watch for law enforcement due to it's ruggedness, non metal strap and ease of reading. Scratches aren't really an issue for me, I just want my work watches to not break or cut me up when I end up going to the ground with someone.

I'm retired from the jewelry and watch business after 30 years. I picked up the Seiko Auto GMT for myself this past Christmas for only $350 on Amazon and I have to say it's a great deal for the money. I'm very happy with it.

I have the G shock rangeman and love it but most definitely will be getting this bad boy as it's a stunner 😨

My favorite watch under $500 is the blue Tissot Gentleman (quartz). It looks elegant, sophisticated, and I love the convenience of the quartz movement and its ability to always keep the time. I also love Fossil’s Minimalist watch with the bone white dial and brown leather strap. A casual king of design working seamlessly with anything in my closet, it gets me a surprising amount of compliments! It’s super thin, uses quality materials, has a quartz movement, and was less than $100!

I’ve got the Casio oak with Bluetooth and solar in yellow resin and have been hoping for ages that they would bring out a metal version with resin band and Bluetooth and solar. Now they have though I’m torn between that and the Citizen. The Tissot PRX looks stunning, if only they would add solar charging to it

Excellent video. That Seiko movement revolutionized the GMT sector opening this type of watch to a wider group of people . I have the orange one, but this one was also on my radar. The Citizen is also very attractive, and a great holiday watch. As for the Moonswatch, I had one and regretted it. Instead of tachymeter....I'd just say tacky....it's a stuck in piece of paperlike plastic so be careful !😂 The Tissot is nice, though on mine the seconds hand missed every marker which was surprisingly bad QC in my opinion and I sold it. If a 50 dollar Casio can hit every marker, surely a Swiss watch can. And the last one ,the G-Shock , definitely the best of them all 👍

I have a negative display Rangeman and after 5 years it's completely unreadable. And in the winter time it's a nightmare because it fogs up underneath the glass and you can't see anything at all . I would love to get this watch in green with a positive display but I won't be buying a negative display ever again. It's useless. Plus I don't like the black version. Hopefully they will put the positive display in the green strap

Perfect selection of affordable watches. I especially like many Casio G-Shock 2100 in metal or resin, the Tissot PRX, any MoonSwatch, and the Seiko 5 . I would add the Blancpain X Swatch Fifty Fathoms as I really like them.
