Hi guys! 👋 I hope you like the new Popular special episode! 😊 (I posted the following update on my last video, but since not everyone saw it, I’ll post it again here.) So, onto the question you've all been asking. A little while ago, I posted a lengthy update to Instagram about where I've been these past couple years. Since I know some of you don't have Instagram, I'll paste that update here. From Instagram: Hi everyone! 👋 Update time. November 26, 2017 marks 2 years since I made an episode of LPS: Popular. Trust me, this wasn't my plan. 😥 I'd like to clear up some of the rumours I've heard about why I haven't been making many videos. I've seen people say that it's because I don't want to do KZbin anymore. Others have said that it's because I don't care about my fans. Neither of these "reasons" are the truth. 😞 It's also frustrating when people presume to know my thoughts, feelings, and what kind of person I am, all based on their opinion. I've talked about it before but I'll say it again for those who don't know -- I was in a car accident a couple years ago. I've mentioned this on social media but I probably should've announced this publicly on KZbin a long time ago. Even though the accident was a while ago now, I'm still feeling the effects. The LPS: News series was started so that I would have some content to put out while I recovered from my injuries. Those videos were still hard for me to make, but they were still easier, shorter, and required less physical work on my part than a full-length episode of Popular. 📷 My family moved not long after my accident, which was another big life change. We downsized - which was a lot of work - and it also left me without a filming area until things were set up. I had been filming in the same place for years, so I had to rethink everything, paint, and get new equipment. 🏠 What I learned through all this was that you can't put all your eggs in one basket! 🥚 That brings me to the last reason I've been so quiet recently: I started another online venture outside of KZbin. It's been a long time in the making and it's finally ready to go out into the world. I still love KZbin and of course I want to keep making videos, but there was something else I wanted to do too. ✨ I hope this helps explain my absence. I didn't plan for this to happen but I had to roll with it. I'm currently wrapping up the last and final LPS: News video and then it's finally on to Popular 29. 🙌 Thanks for being so patient and supportive during this time. It means a lot to me that you're still here, still reading and still following. Man, I frickin' grew up on LPS Popular. For the longest time ever I was in the LPS fandom and loved it. Well, then teenage years hit, and I kinda started losing interest. Everything was starting to seem super "childish" now that I was growing up. But that didn't stop me from watching this series now and then! I'd come back to check up on your channel once and a while, and when I noticed you weren't posting, I was kinda sad. Was worried you moved on, and while it's okay to do so (hey I did it!), I knew you had so many younger fans that would be so upset that you left. All-in-all, I'm so glad to see you back, and I wish you the best in luck on healing and being able to do what you love again. May not be in this fandom anymore, but I still support it 100%. SophieGTV Of course. I was highly worried for your well being, it makes me worried when anyone gets hurt. It upsets me how people decided to assume instead of trying to understand. The videos you posted as is were more than enough, especially in that situation you were placed in.
