Can i give some simple advice and say TEST whatever you do and maybe even put some eye drops in your eyes in a test run 😅😅 because when i did my wedding makeup that was my biggest concern and luckily i had a good look! But whatever you do make sure you can cry in it!!!

I love shadow sticks, although I have not tried the L'Oreal ones yet. I find that it is hard to blend out if I am doing more than one color with my finger. The Rephr 01 or 15 brushes work great at blending them by using small circle motions. I do this for one and done looks and just blend the crease upwards, but also can do it with multi color looks. Thanks for another great video!

Lash Paradise is my favorite mascara and was excited when they brought put the latte brown shade. Its still dark but when i do brown liner, brown mascara its definitely a softer look and i like that for some days and looks!

I bought my first shadow stick two weeks ago and I must say, I’m in love. It’s a darker purple colour because it goes well with my hazel eyes. So easy and very quick, stays all day. For anyone interested it’s from an Australian brand called The Kind Collective.

Hi Emily the very light mint powder is really interesting 🤔. I have rosacea with ultra pale skin and use green corrector under foundation, but I love a lavender powder for brightening (works better on my pale cool toned skin than pink). I only really use powder in the t zone due to having very dry skin however, so maybe the mint would give extra redness relief? As I said it is interesting 😂? A lot of brands are releasing shadow sticks but my favourite are the Kiko ones. They have a huge shade range and they are just as good as Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown and by Terry in my experience (I have used the other three). They have recently reformulated the sticks and I have many of the older versions, but from the reviews there doesn’t appear to be that much changed in the new ones (I don’t need to replace any right now or I would buy a new one). Kiko here in the UK is on par with L’Oreal and Maybelline price wise for info. I thought the Elf sticks were disappointing btw and the Kiko are far better. I’ve also had some of the Laura Gellor and truthfully formula wise they’re on par with the other higher end brands mentioned. Kiko is made in Italy and most of these brands also make their shadow sticks in Italy🤔, so are they made in the same factory? Who knows. Best wishes x

Great video, Emily! I love shadow sticks, especially as my older eyes are becoming more hooded and mobile. My absolute favorites that I gravitate towards daily are from Girlactik. They are smooth and can be used with brushes, but they do not budge or crease. I love the formula! Girlactik has a great selection of products.

I tried shadow sticks because I thought they'd be quicker and easier to apply, lol. Using them as lazy liner was a great tip! I also like them as a one and done or use a light shade to cover the entire eye then switch to a powder for the crease and outer eye. Getting sticks with a sponge applicator or brush on the other end helps with blending.

Powder looks patchy and dry, cream and liquid eyeshadows are so easy, doesn't irritate my eyelids from blending and don't show off my dry lids. I'm going to have to try these from Loreal.

I used that concealer today for work. I really enjoy it. It's not so heavy. I really like the Natasha Denona concealer, but I could use it as a foundation! It's beautiful, but I wanted a little less today. You always look great! I'm also pretty obsessed with that Charlotte Tilbury glowy foundation stick. I'm sure it's the same thing as the Flawless Filter, but I feel like the stick fills in my pores even more. Which is needed!

I have tried so much makeup but never tried the stick eyeshadows. You created a lovely look with such ease I will have to give them a try. Lash Paradise in black has been one of my top mascaras. I have never really been a shadow stick person either until lately. I have been using them every day and absolutely LOVING my eyeshadow looks. This is how I do it if you don’t mind me telling you lol- I put a nice thick layer of a shadow stick like bronze or brown or even a rose color all over my lid and blend the edge just a little with my finger. Then I take a neutral brownish or taupe powder shadow and I blend that in the crease and over the edge of the shadow stick. Then I like to go back and put a bit of a shimmer or glitter over the inner and middle part of the shadow stick on the lid. It is so easy and it looks so absolutely gorgeous. I hope you enjoy using them and by the way Amazon has the Loreal sticks that Emily just showed for nine dollars which is cheaper than Ulta

Shadow sticks always seem great but I have trouble making them look right too. You did great. I am sad the hard candy bronzer in summer tan I see you use and I am almost out of is not being made any more. I love that it doesn't look muddy on my skin like alot of bronzers. Golly, I believe your eye look today is one of my favorites. You look so very pretty. I love eye sticks. I use Tarte and Laura Mercierones but I am going to try these! I use them for lid and a liner. Sometimes I bring up on the brow bone and blend with a brush. I did see that highlighter try to dry on you! It left the first dot and you had to blend harder. Really you look very nice in this look.

Hey Em! Great to see you today (well, every day). I was watching you use the shadow stick as undereye shadow and I have been doing that with great results. I am OVER-JOYED at the new re-release of the Naked pallet and it made me want a "full eye" look. For me, that just really means finishing off my eye look with a bottom color which I often just forget but when I remember it and happen to look into a mirror during the day, I'm always pleased with the look. I've been enjoying the L'orèal lipsticks lately, and I've probably purchased 5 or 6 so far. I already have Nars, Natasha Denona,YSL, ABH, Too Faced, MAC, Charlotte Tilburry, etc, but L'orèal and Revlon lipsticks are so satisfying, especially paired with a Revlon lip pencil. Stunning eye look, Em- so soft! I use Julep shadow sticks and find blending them with a brush easiest, but I'm sure it may vary with formula.

Hi Emily. I think to do a full look with a shadow stick it has to be blended out with a brush, it gives more precision than just using a finger, which works if you are only using one color, but even then a brush gives a better blend. As for the L'Oreal lipstick, the smell of them is nauseating. It's a shame because they come in such beautiful colors, but that heavy, floral, perfume scent makes them unwearable for me. I can smell them all day, and worse, I can taste the perfume.

The Essence Liquid blush looks wonderful on your face - it's one I would consider buying - it's natural and a beautiful color for you. I have found that what works for a camera shot (photo or video) looks a bit harsh when someone is standing just 5 ft in front of you ... During the day, especially, less is more ...
