Morning Emily, This may be odd. But, take a fresh sprig of rosemary and boil it in water for about 5 minutes or so let it cool until you can handle it and soak the toe/or whole foot on the mixture. Rosemary is a natural antibiotic and antimicrobial. I had an infected finger nail and I did this and completely taken care of.

Although where I live in SW Florida didn’t take a direct hit from Hurricane Helene, we did take a direct hit from category 5, Hurricane Ian 2 years ago today, and just knowing what those people effected by Hurricane Helene are going through breaks my heart! I live east of Atlanta and I went to school at Flagler College in St. Augustine. I'm now 400-500 miles from the nearest coast and was in a tropical storm warning for over 48 hours. We are okay but it was a wild ride. I appreciate your understanding and YES!! I totally agree that @emilynoel83 positivity is a welcome "norm" for today and the days of cleanup to come. 💗

Hi im from Ga. And it has been quite an awakening for us. As u probably know we rarely have to deal with these horrible storms in the way of one actually making landfall as a hurricane and staying a hurricane by the time it hits us its usually at least dropped down to a tropical issue a little wind, and sometimes a few strong winds. But coming through here in south ga as a cat 2 and 3 it was devastating for a lot of folks. We thought we were prepared but boy were we wrong. But praise God we all have our lives in my family and our home was left whole. Alot of trees were down in our yard and still no power but like i said god spared our lives which i am so greatful for. My point is to say now i have a taste of what its like and because of this i will always be more aware of helping you guys iin Florida that have this to deal with so often. Liquid Bandage is a miracle product for injuries like that! It seals the wound so it doesn't hurt. It's an antiseptic as well!

Catrice, ELF, Rimmel, Covergirl, Milani, WnW and Physicians Formula are all CF so off to a good start there on this list and you can see a lot of other products Em uses among those brands. CF that she also uses: Essence, NYX, Hard Candy, Colorpop, Flower Beauty, Pixi, LA Colors, LA Girl, Revolution, Palladio, No7, theBalm, (getting pricy). There are others from UK/Australia but not sure if you get them. Oh, I think you get N*de by Nature in Canada! That's all mineral stuff (so is Lily Lolo, powder mint green correctors - life changing). Barry M you might have that's more youth-orientated but two of their three new setting sprays are the only fragrance free setting sprays basically anywhere. Milani setting spray is great.

OK, to dupe out some of the L'Oreal and Maybelline specifics this vid, ELF=glowy liquid blush, glowy primer (Halo Glow line), a pigmented liquid blush or concealer or full coverage powder foundation (Camo line). CG and Rimmel have newer glowy bases in diff. shades, not tried yet. Rimmel Stay Matte powder for how Em is using it: bit of extra coverage/colour on existing base but also locking down. Plenty of touchup powders in those brands on the go. I'm exclusively NYX brow 'cos I need blk. Those L'Oreal eye sticks, Em's fav in Hard Candy! NYX Jumbo French Fries similar-ish colour? That's more glimmery. ELF and WnW have bronzy sticks too, I'd probably just brown eyeliner. Mascara was difficult at first but I'm pretty happy w/Covergirl (or high end), would like to try ELFs w/green lid or their Roller Lash rip off. People rave about Essence Lash Princess. I don't care for it but super cheap. Gloss? Can you dupe Lifter? Difficult at affordable and cf. Covergirl Yummy has those deeper red and rusty red shades now but they're not close to as pigmented and kinda sticky, FYI. Australis can pull that pigment, that's Aussie tho. Canmake "Masquerade Bud" decent pigment balm (not this strong tho) but that's from YesStyle and questionable cf status but I couldn't resist. Biggest struggle is skin tint. Plenty of great ones from the brands I mentioned but matching the coverage of Maybelline is harder. Covergirl Clean Matte BB? Elf Camo CC? If you don't need full coverage, WnW Tinted Hydrator is really nice as are other CG iterations or just go with one of Em's fav foundations. HTH.

I always wash mine with my towels. I washed my sponges with my clothes, and learned a hard lesson the other day when a freshly used sponge with foundation on it, bled on to a $60 sweatshirt. My boyfriend got it out, but lesson learned. I don’t even use my sponges to apply, I use them to press the foundation into my skin and get possible brush marks off of my face and there was still enough on there to get on my clothes. I buy the AOA Paw Paw sponges and they are cheap, but not cheap enough to get a few uses out of them. I am too lazy to wash sponges by hand.😂

I just got the nude mood more recently and it is such a great palette. I’m grabbing it nearly every day to incorporate in my eye looks. It’s a cooler tone but not super cool, so you can go cool tone or neutral warm. I’m obsessed with anything ambient powder-esque and I love all the PF multi pigmented mineral powders that I don’t see many using. I will have to get the one you showed. Hard Candy Fox in a Box is identical to Hourglass ambient powders, but only come out every year or two around this time. If you see them, grab them. They’ve got bronzers, blushes and highlighters and you can not go wrong with any of them.

@@EnvyBlu I have seen them come out every year around Thanksgiving except these last two years. They’ve never had them routinely though, stocked on shelves, so just keep your eye out for them should they bring them back at Walmart for a short time like they used to do. They need to make them permanent because i really can’t tell the difference between this formula and the Hourglass ambient powders and for $6-8?! They have a Benefit style packaging, very beautiful shades, and baked powders are always the most natural while giving that beautiful sheen to the skin without looking overly glowy. I wish they’d bring them back and make them permanent or even put them in a palette like Hourglass does. They do always discontinue the best products of their he brand, which makes no sense business wise. These were hands down my favorite powder products among all brands and they were the first and only to dupe the ambient powders outside Essence Nude Glow powder, but Essence only has the one highlight shade that’s a good Hourglass highlighter dupe. The Essence blushes I don’t think come close to duping any of the HG Ambient blushes.

Emily, something I’ve really been enjoying recently is putting base products in my hand and then spreading them out to be as thin as possible with the brush. So I don’t need to do the spreading step and then blend, just the blend stage. It gives me great coverage without looking makeup-y! I just thought I’d mention this if you never thought to try it and would be interested!

I’m 67 and when I was younger I never had problems with ingrown nails but in the last few years it has become an issue as my feet have changed (thanks bunions and hammer toes 🤦‍♀️😩). But what I’ve found is that if I get a pedicure once a month (or even every six weeks) they never become an issue. I don’t use any polish at all-not even clear-but having them trimmed and shaped regularly has made all the difference. Hope this helps.

Revlon flex wear is the only concealer that doesn't crease or make me look dry or cakey. I've tried elf, Maybelline, L'Oreal etc. I'm 42 with fine lines and I can count on this to look the same at the end of the day as it did in the morning.

I admit that most of my makeup steps I prefer high end but my favorite drugstore products are the Milani cheek kiss cream bronzer and the Milani baked blushes specifically Luminoso (but I haven’t tried the new ones yet) to me both products are better than high end. Loved your video ❣️....just HAVE to tell you how to make your toe pain go away; put Vicks, on your sore toe; wrap with bandaid, or something to help it stay on painful toe area; in approximately 12 to 24 hours, your pain should be gone....this has NEVER FAILED, for me👍🤗 (can use directly on cuts ,works every time; pain is gone!) especially works well at night....wake up with no pain...hope it works for you😘

Hi, the BEST longest wearing lip pencils, (and I’ve tried everything) are the Catrice Plumping lip liner, which I believe are only on their website, not the ones on Amazon. I like the Rimmel lasting finish, and a few others, but these Catrice ones are ridiculously long lasting. Especially if you rage a little setting spray on a blender and tap along the lip edges first. Emily, I haven’t heard anyone talk about these, please review them.

I'm so happy you didn't take the full impact but I know a lot of people did and there in my prayers. We were in a huge flood in 08 and it almost destroyed my parents home. It took 2 years for our community to recover, so I know the misery. God bless you and yours 🙏

Love the look as usual!! Per your recommendations I purchased the Maybelline foundation and powder you used in this video a couple weeks ago. Emily oh my goodness, they are such phenomenal products!!! I would’ve paid so much more for that foundation!! Thank you for such awesome recommendations!! On my list now are the eye shadow stick, mascara, and physicians formula powder you used in this video😂 just when I told myself “I’m so content with the makeup I have, nothing new has caught my eye”……yep I totally lied to myself!! When it comes to brands coming out with brow products that have long bristles on one side and short on the other, Catrice came out with a product like that at least 8 years ago. It's called the Lash & Brow Designer Gel. That one is clear though. Edit: just checked Makeup Alley and the oldest review for the Catrice one is from 11 years ago!

I thought I was buying the nano brow pencil and got the brow filler pomade by mistake. (similar packaging) ugh, my brows looked horrid. I just need to try again. I'm in SC, so we've been down a couple days with Helene. Things are coming back to life today. Enjoy your weekend.
