Simmmmm!!!! Thank you for Khadlaj Le prestige Empress, Empire Victor, 25 years LOYALTY AND TRUST. Plus, you encouraged me to take a leap of faith with Masa & Emaan!!! I LOVE them all amd thank you.

Sim, you crack me up. When the perfume is a disappointment, your displeasure is apparent. When you don't like a fragrance, you REALLY don't like a fragrance. 😂The good news is you saved me a few Euros. I didn't care for Taskeen either. I feel like I'm too old for it. 😐 And it's synthetic to my nose. I need to smell Les Prestige Empress! I too don't like herbal notes, however I have been known to drink a Moscow Mule or two.. 😏

Taskeen is not good. I don't understand why people like that fragrance. It smells so juvenile to me. Like a teenage girly girl

The synthetic scent puts me off. As a woman 50+ I am not put off by juvenile scents but synthetic scents aren’t bearable

Hi Simin. I 100% agree with you about Taskeen. To me, it smells like peach ice tea. I picture a little girl smelling like this. This would be a great 1st "actual" perfume for a girl.

I wish Fragrantica would get with the program and list more Paris Corner (Kaheela Lux and Platinum stiiiiill not listed 🙄) and have Khadlaj on there at all! I'd really like to see the notes of Taskeen and see how it compares to Bright Peach from Maison Alhambra. Oh well, maybe one day lol

Taskeen is very sweet. Almost juvenile. Bright Peach is woodier and warmer. I don't like Taskeen at all but enjoy Bright Peach

I’m always so pleasantly surprised by how beautifully you describe perfumes. I’m so sorry that those first few perfumes didn’t really work for you but Le Prestige definitely sounds super promising 😍❤️ Also white is definitely your color, you look like an Angel! 🩷🤍🩷 Btw hon, have you by any chance tried Eternal musk by Paris Corner? And if you have, would you tell me your thoughts on it?

I just don’t understand why in the US the Arab perfumes are cheaper than in UAE itself. Same situation goes with India. In India most of the perfumes are not available plus whatever available their price is much higher than USD. And India being the nearest neighbour country!!!
@bhawinidwivedy7 ай бұрын
Girl seriously!! Lattafa shouldn't be as expensive as it is here in India, sometimes the pricing doesn't even make it affordable to me. 😑😑
@lotus_perfumes7 ай бұрын
@@bhawinidwivedyI agree 💯 plus it comes after 3-4 months after releasing everywhere nd comes last in India. That's disappointing.
@chandracox68147 ай бұрын
I agree. And I'm in the U.S. yet I even think that's weird!
@payelbiswas18017 ай бұрын
This is really disappointing. That’s the reason I buy those perfumes which compared to similar with USD at least. Or else it’s not even cheap for Indians.

My beautiful angel, you made me laugh a lot and I needed this and I hear you ! I so get what you are saying. Those bottles look awkward and I bet are not nice to hold. The Khadlaj Prestige Empress sounds soooooo tempting to me, love the green bottle as well, I actually got a sample of one of their perfumes when I bought Ajwad Pink to Pink and have not dared to try it yet, as I cannot even buy it from any seller here ( not sure why they have samples, I hope this means they will get Khadlaj perfumes). I can understand how the weather changes are insane, we had warm weather with 34 degrees C and next day was 14 C and since that day I have been very unwell , not sure what is going on so if I write total rubbish or gibberish , please forgive me , my brain is not firing properly , I cannot smell very much today either, so I think I may have caught a cold, I HATE NOT BEING ABLE TO SMELL !!! Anyway, wow wow Henry Cavill *sigh* ( loved him since I saw The Tudors) & Benedict Cumberbatch wow, must get my hands on that perfume one day. It does sound amazing and perfect for a complex layering type of scent. I know the perfume coma well 🌸💨✨😌 ❤ 💫 👃. I had it when I first got AMETHYST, I only just started with Middle Eastern perfume blind buys and I was literally in a perfume coma for about an hour, I sat down and was in another dimension. The coma lasted a few hours but not to that intensity, by the time Gerry came home ( 5 hours later) I was able to speak whole sentences 🤣😂 but my first words were, 'how incredible is this perfume? '. I still love AMETHYST so much and get a few moments of perfume coma when I spray it. I love those times. I know it is a polarising perfume but when I first got this ( I think it was my 6th or so ME perfume) it was June or so last year, I was in a deep perfume coma. I had sniffed the bottle and thought carefully as I read and heard all the negative reviews, I cannot smell gasoline or rubber, nothing nasty , OK I will spray it on my wrist ......I was literally in La La La perfume land, so many notes dancing in my brain 🌸💨✨ , colour explosions a melodramatic pop operatic song was playing in my head sung by Barry Ryan and I couldn't talk. I remember having to sit down 😌 ❤ 💫 👃 and did not move but I just WAS ..... IN THAT PERFUME COMA. No idea how much time had passed. 🧴🌬✨ But I was in love and obsessed with this and every layer of this scent was calling my name. My first bottle is just about empty ( I have 4 back up bottles, that is how much I love this perfume and I know that it is so subjective but hope I never ever stop loving this so much as it makes me happy and feel like my soul and mind is one) and this with me wearing tons of other ME scents but every time I first put this on, I get that perfume coma for at least 5 or so minutes, I actually do try to put on perfume whilst no one ( even our kitties) are near me so I can be immersed in those intense perfume comas 😅. I can possible talk after a few moments but prefer to float in this heavenly scented coma. Just being .. I always feel so happy when I wear this perfume, it is as if it completes every aspect of me or the best aspects of me, how crazy is this, the power a perfume can have. But we all love different notes, smell different things and react differently based on our memories and body chemistry. I have found that I need to be cautious with lactonic scents, overbearing grandmother forcing milk with melted butter on me as a young child has made me react this way, I feel. I also have some reaction to some herbs or something that smells medicinal, again tonics my grandmother ( not my beloved Omi , my paternal grandma who baked and cooked so lovingly and was loving and sweet, she is the reason I love some scents like cinnamon, cloves, baked apples, and vanilla and scent of flowers as she always had fresh scented flowers in her apartment) gave me which I despised and usually got rid of. Just as the milk , my body violently reacted to these. BTW I got Ajayeb Dubai Portrait Lattafa for a bargain price and after your review felt it would be lovely but there is a note that I have to get used to in the dry down. I fell in love with it, sprayed it and then an hour later wanted to wash it off, mind you I was starting to feel ill that day so I will try again. Again, sorry for the LOOOONG comment, but I understand you so much and just wanted to thank you for your video and all your wonderful work. My kitties now I am unwell and are not leaving my side at all and so I will lie down in the recliner with a heat pack ( it is 20 degrees and sunny but I feel so cold) and 2 kitties on my lap, best medicine in the world 🐈🐱. Wishing you a lovely relaxing weekend. Smoochies to Markus and purrs from Pushkin and Sunti. Much much love ❤ and light from your sis from another miss , from sunny Tasmania, Tia❤☀

Hey Sim, have you tried Ajmal Wisal and Ajmal Wisal Dhahab? They are both beautiful spicy rose fragrances. Dhahab is my favorite as it is a darker rose than the original. They are not new by any means. I've owned both of mine for about five years now. The bottles are funky but the juice is beautiful although it may be more typical to you since you are in Dubai and I am in Texas, USA. 😂❤

Taskeen was one of the most cloying perfumes I've ever smelled/worn. It grossed me out so much and I love sweet gourmands but it was like wearing an even sweeter version of a Snapple Peach Iced Tea. And that is one of my favorite Snapples too! Yea it's just not a good fragrance. I wonder how the Marina one is? Too scared to buy it tho.

Do you think they actually have perfumers ? They feel mass produced and factory made to me. These only sell due to social media hype. They are average at best and then we kid ourselves they are better as we spent nearly as much as a designer perfume in a smaller bottle. Imagine the landfill when people finally get bored of them. As a reviewer it must be hard as you become a slave to the audience and end up buying loads of these perfumes ❤ They have zero character or art within them. Perfumes of the past told stories and created beautiful memories. These are trash
@Mandalaaxo7 ай бұрын
So you're putting all ME perfumes into one category and it's "trash"? Weird take.
@adeleeagleton32837 ай бұрын
I have a huge collection of perfume always designer but discovered niche with penhaligans then amuage which are amazing but very expensive.but make all designer ones trash. I then realised amuage being Arabic. Then went on to discover so many great dupes middle eastern and all out preform the originals ..so have to disagree as them being trash ..
@charlottethompson5946 ай бұрын
No I meant the cheap ones, cheap perfume is cheap perfume however much we want it to be something else. Obviously the high quality ones are great but these aren’t covered in this video. I know that those that review them feel massive pressure to continue buying them and the audience is often addicted to purchasing

Also, not at any point did I say all ME perfumes were trash. That was said by another commenter
