Definitely a good replacement IMO. The previous Malaysian Toshiba ones weren't really interesting so these ones now are fairly nice. That voice announcement sounds nicer than the usual one, though it's a shame that it only says "Going up/down".

Indeed. On some point the voiceover once says the floor but it wasn't appeared on this video (which I guess probably only appeared when called from outside).

It’s not so bad I mean it is what it is. These gen 2s’ or farely common in MY for shopping malls

A decent replacement for what it is, though I wonder why it was done prematurely considering the "old" elevators aren't even all that old (installed 2011/12).

Probably Malaysian Toshibas are not quite reliable lately? Especially for the Gandaria City elevators it's even not more than a decade yet to be modded.
