I think there is another bank of freight elevators (there was security so I couldn't ride it) and they're taller than these ones. I randomly found them on UG.

Is it the lone service elevator just behind one of the passenger elevator banks? Forgot where it was though. I actually filmed that elevator but I deleted the video because it wasn't as interesting as these ones.

I don't know, but I heard that one of these floors leads to the elevator lobby of Prudential Center.

Why do they need such a big service elevator?

Probably for transporting tons of refuse/garbage or other bigger goods.
