They need to expand the gear inventory… also can we talk about how the gear-sets added recently are to be a bandaid to broken mechanics in the game (sheep and Armanz). This just locks players in arena content to either having to go first hoping no stoneskin/reaction or wear these specific sets

considering i walked away from last cvc with like 3 pieces of feral total...ima say id doesnt matter if its better yet...gonna take a lot of ppl a very long time to get a full set of good feral...it is odd that they add 2 new sets that are so similar back to back tho...ill prolly farm these new dungeon alot while i can at the very least

Thank god i managed to hit gold 3 in live arena before all the new variable sets get traction. Because it was hard enough for a f2p to fight all those full stoneskin teams. I can't imagine having to fight both stoneskin and intercept champs.

if you have only been playing for that long, without spending heavily....every high-level account would probably seem like a shark (FTP or not)...but in all honesty, live arena isn't really fair for lower level players

It's ok. At first glance it looked to be an anti Armanz, anti poly set. On the surface it seems to be trying to bring back debuffing to the arena meta. look deeper and it may indeed have some swapping out their blessings to other potent ones like Soul Reap on a nuker, or one of the support blessings for buffers/debuffers. However, it will take less than 30secs to realize that you simply put this on a Stripper (Kymar/Madam) or buff stealer (Wukon) and you lose that advantage again and go right back to poly. If they wanted to make this an Anti Amanz/poly set, then they should have made the 9 pieces come with 2 intercepts but "protected" and that would really have people farming hard for it. Paylarium just keep missing the mark with sheep. What you have here is an anti Armanz set. Really? Is this what Paylarium are planning for all our futures. Bring an op game breaking champ into the game, and then bring out a set just to deal with it? Wow! Is all I can say.

IMO these time limited events are a bit greedy i think. They force players into buying hard counters to OP champions, and ONLY for a limited time.

@gromphh951 Yeah, strip != cc. But if you strip someone who has intercept, how does that play out? Does it rip all stacks off, or since it's a layered buff instead of a single but with multiple turns does only the first layer get stripped. Or does it do nothing because strip != cc?

Consider this... Pinpoint artifacts that don't include accuracy substats.... on champions that have debuffs that cannot be resisted... If we have pinpoint pieces without accuracy substats perhaps we are disappointed. We might trash them if we cannot find champions that would make good use of those pieces. So will those irresistible debuffers fit the bill?

I like gear sets when they do something unique. I don't like when they are extremely rare/hard to get or outclass another set to the point that using other set is a detriment.

@calandale It definitely is. All the divine gear is useless. Most of ice golem gear is useless. Some doom tower sets not worth using, but instead of changing what a set does/provides they just make a new set.
