For short wood it just needs a little fine tuning. It's definitely an animal though!

Would be interesting to see it close up. Curious if he ordered it specifically with those feed wheels, or if they are standard. I've heard people seem to like them Also, are the main hoses into the head spread far enough apart that they are individually removable? What about some of the rest of the plumbing, front knife hose routing etc

One of my favorite features was that there aren't any top knife hoses exposed at all. Each boom tip hose where it meets the head was also on its own swivel.

@@Loggermack so is all the access under the head cover? Are the fittings easily accessible? As far as the active speed goes, can the operator adjust where in the diameter range the displacement shift occurs, or is that hard-coded in? Depending on length and species of wood that could be different. Heavy hardwood vs a second thinning red pine stand or something

They don't have the software figured out yet for short wood yet. This is so far the first and only new h8 in hardwood for sure. At the time of this video it was the only one in north America. It needs some ironing out for sure, but I'd put it against any other head on the market in it's size and weight class
