Do you think automobiles will be better off with brazed copper pipes and 1/4 inch flared fittings?

@@mikebrandt4131 I would love it. No more leaking orings. 👍 But 🤣 look who we have now to work on cars. The majority of the United States specially California when I grew up, you started auto shop working on cars in seventh grade. We had metal shop we had woodshop. you started brazing and welding. sixth grade or seventh grade depending what school district you were in through 12th grade. So you had 6 to 7 years of learning trades skills you were taught safety you were taught what every tool was how to take it apart, clean it repair it and use it. Now we have the last two generations they know how to manipulate software they could play on their PlayStation. Years ago, here in San Francisco, California, shops even were forced or due to monetary punishment. If you had welding oxen equipment in your shop, your insurance would go up. . And you actually had to pay permit fee to keep the equipment in your shop to the city so Shop started getting rid of that type of stuff and technicians. Don’t even know what it is anymore.. I would love for 100% braised lines to come back to Automotive. I can tell you I definitely would have a monopoly. I could see cars being said on fire all over the country, just due to the lack of no common sense of safety procedures, and use of equipment that was caused by the individuals who ran our school system who defunded the trades out of our schools . No flares . We’re talking about guys who cannot even install O-rings correctly.. You see what a mess it is in the Hvac community with guys cannot even make good flares that don’t leak . . Braised stainless steel pipe would be good to. Coppers a little brittle in high vibration applications . But it would be nicer to bend in the automotive industry.

LOL drier in out or is it out in !!! lol This model has a trinary fan /low/high switch on the drier ??? Crimping has not been done deep enough , when u look at the hose ferrules . Were the weld on fittings R134 or R12 ?? Has the correct refrigerant hose been used that matches the fittings . Lets say I do not get surprised anymore by any standard of workmanship

Drier backwards, Even if you can’t see the ‘IN’ the sightglass should never point towards the condenser, no excuse. Also they did not flare those hose fittings nearly enough before brazing them, way too much solder used. Oh well just costs them more i guess 🤷
