I think it’s okay to buy I don’t think there is anything to it that someone would hate IF you like juicy fruity citrus aquatic scents. Not lemon citrus but definitely like a ripe sweet grapefruit. I personally love it and it convinced me to buy Versace turquoise since where I live gets VERY hot and humid it’s perfect

Thank you for explaining the maturation, maceration process. I’m no fragrance aficionado although I buy tons but I have experienced with my own nose the power of the process and have seen fragrances start out as complete garbage blossom beautifully with oxidation over time. I don’t get it when people say that it’s bs, have they even tried it. By the way, You. Are. So. Beautiful.

Eclaire smelled a lot like Zara's Supreme Vanilla when I first tried it, quite alcoholic and fairly linear vanilla, but now it's sat for a couple weeks it's a lot softer and I'm getting more of the other notes. It definitely needs macerating before it reaches it's full potential. However the performance and longevity is insanely good. So overall I am impressed.

My eclaire leaked too, but after a couple days it still was leaking at the seam where the bottle design has that dripping design. In any case, I think $50 is too much especially how they hit the scene being known for cheap scents. We expect that. Choco musk is still under $10 but here we go with others raising the prices because they have jumped on the influencer bandwagon and on the supply and demand train, so really disappointing. It's not affordable for everyone, so while it's cheaper than bianco latte, it's still expensive compared to other arab perfumes. 😢 anyway, there is a lot of open space in the box the bottle comes in, so they should fix that so bottles arent thrown around. In summer months, the bottles get too hot for that.

Hey @paulina I agree with maceration of all perfumes plus you need to spray a new perfume. Once you release the atomizer after spraying the bottle gets alittle oxygen from the air. That is where the magic happens and the note mature. Alot of people don't know this

Finally got a tester for Ajayeb Portrait and ordered a full bottle right away. I really like the opening, but I love the dry down! I actually love the woodiness in it and the green mango scent. I really didn't think I would like it because I don't like fruity scents, but this one surprised me and it is much better than I thought.

I bought Lost in a Dream at launch and got Eclaire a few weeks ago. I wish someone had said the two were so similar, because I wouldn't have bothered with Eclaire. It is lovely, but if you have LIAD, you don't need both.

I’m still struggling with mine too. It’s getting better as it’s macerating but I still won’t give it a full wear on its own. I still get a lot of unripened mango and woods. It is getting smoother though as time passes. Some fragrances take a long time to macerate fully. I have one that I’ve had for 6-8 months now and it’s just now getting to the point that I’d wear it.
