New park looks nice. I'll have to check it out with my mom once the weather is warmer again.

@@MissSothePeacefulObserver it's really nice. You will enjoy it. I like how the creek runs through there. 🙂

Great little video. This is a beautiful town. My nephew lives out there and I went to visit him a few years ago. We had breakfast at some restaurant but can't remember where it was.

@OnTheGoWithFlo-Kid22 glad you've been enjoying the Antioch content. This is the last part. But another Antioch video is coming, a much sadder one, showing the now closed Piggly Wiggly. Long-form version of the Short that I already posted. One of my favorite things to do here is cover towns and places that folks have connections to. If you can get info from your nephew on the place you visited, I'm sure I can incorporate it into a Short at least. I travel through Antioch a lot. 🙂

I found a video and mentioned in it that that we were at iHop. It was May 23rd, 2021. So, there you go

@OnTheGoWithFlo-Kid22 interesting. Must have closed down. Don't recall seeing one and Google says ironically closest one to Antioch is the one in McHenry. Which will be featured briefly in my upcoming "Fort McHenry" video. 🙂

@memoriesbywayne Hmmm, maybe we went to that one then but we met him in Antioch. There was a Petsmart and a Dicks in the same shoping area. I saw them in some pictures we took outside the restaurant

@@OnTheGoWithFlo-Kid22 wish I could say I was better knowledgeable on Antioch retail history. Sounds interesting. Very curious where it was now. Our IHOP has been connected for a very long time to the Jewel-Osco parking lot. Our big box stuff is on the north end of town and mixes in with Johnsburg. Doesn't sound like you visited the McHenry location. There are some strip malls located along 173 in Antioch. One of which connected to their Walmart. So I suspect it may have been connected to that area. A little bit of research and confirmation through Google Street View history I may be able to find it!
