Summer 2024 Visit to Long Grove

I used to love to go to Long Grove. They had so many unique stores. It's not the same anymore. So many stores have closed. That bridge has been hit so many times it's ridiculous. It seems like it's basically been rebuilt several times which kind of takes it's history away. It's really too bad. I'm not sure why these trucks and buses even go through there with the height of the bridge and warnings posted. I do love the strawberry and apple fests they have every year.

@flocosta It is crazy what has been going on with that bridge. Glad I've been able to document it throughout the process. The first accident basically destroyed it. So it had to be rebuilt once. And still getting hit. Much bigger now too. The downtown was much more thriving my first couple visits.

I haven't been to Long Grove in ages. Used to go to their strawberry festival.

@MissSothePeacefulObserver Strawberry Fest was pretty awesome. Haven't been to it in a long time either. 🙂
