Seems very practical and efficient to invest in the new slurry pit, shame that the legislation prevents the use of slurry into the fields but hey ho you've got to be flexible with the new legislation inplace. Tk sisters and keep smiling hopefully see the big boss too.😊

Maybe they can do umbilical spreading instead of tankering from the new pit as it's that close Good job being in charge 👏 👍

Love what these girls do you keep going. It’s all you can do however I do feel like the Welsh government have let farmers down in regards to stopping you from slurring one of you need to think it might be time for a change in government.

As a non farmer, it pains me to see authorities, with Obviously NO practical experience of an industry, dictating what those whom do the job and experience of the job can and can't do WHY when the weather is so messed up, can you say you can't do something when conditions are perfect just because a calendar says it's not time They are really doing everything to kill farming by regulation Great job on the new pit, shame it has to be double handled Some loopy politician said, farmers need to learn to do more with less, yet they're increasing your labour/costs with stupid legislation Well done sisters, holding down the fort Obviously dad in boots confidence in your skills and abilities Tankers a lot for the update, take great care Stay safe round that pit Sorry for the rant Geoff

What is the point of your rant? You must know that during the winter months the land is saturated, applying more moisture not only is ineffective use of nutrients but also the danger of run off into streams and rivers not only harms the wildlife but could be detriment to human health via the extraction of water for domestic use which many larger rivers have extraction points to serve large areas of the community, we on the outskirts of Chester use water which is extracted out of the Dee river, yes,, legislations do have a tendency to annoy at best but to bang the drum for the sake of it does no one any good,
@GeoffreyMoore-i9k23 сағат бұрын
@johnhughes2113 which if you read it, my point was to work with the weather, if you were around last "summer" when swaithes of farm land were under water, technically you could spread, no rules stopping you My point was to work with nature, spread when conditions allowed not because the date was correct
@johnhughes211323 сағат бұрын
@@GeoffreyMoore-i9k you ask if I was around last summer,, well yes I was, I’m a farmer having to deal with weather and legislations along with all other farmers, you did mention that you were a “non farmer” therefore you would be better to ask questions to learn about various topics through vlogs such as the “girls in wellies” which are bloody good at what they do to educate their viewers, I’m not being being rude or sarcastic towards anyone, but education is the best cause of action.

Good video as always Ladies, have you to put up a fence around new slurry pit ?

Would you consider a separator to stretch you slurry storage. Or would removing the solid matter not reduce the volume much?

I really can’t understand why people in Uk don’t ever give the contractor drivers dinner or supper. Here in rep of Ireland 🇮🇪 we always feed the drivers.
@richard300817 сағат бұрын
great work was wondering could you not pump then i seen how far you go seams silly saying you cannot spray the slurry as they blame it for green house gases but it ok to run tractors burning fuel to transport it farming is getting way to hard to many restrictions thankyou for all your hard work ladies and for filming as well everyone should like and subscribe to help with the fuel costs and help farmers out

Does the slurry improve with aging? As the microbes don’t stop working. It’s too bad you can’t get an exemption for good weather
@jeffreyshier902123 сағат бұрын
What is the reasoning for not spending slurry between October to January?🤔 I can’t remember if you explained on another video.
