I stayed at South Point last summer. Probably the only value casino/hotel left in Las Vegas. Excellent video poker, best sportsbook odds (your video showed the race book which is separate from the sportsbook) great bar service and cheap drinks. The buffet is the best value of any in town. Primarily Prime Rib is fantastic and again a great value. The coffee shop has lots of graveyard specials and has a huge menu. The rooms have recently been remodeled and are very spacious. Your video at 12:55 showed the yellow cart on the left which sells all beef hot dogs for $1.50. There isn't anything that South Point doesn't have if you're in town to gamble. Bottom line: The management there doesn't screw the customers just because they can like they do on the Strip. Best place to stay and play in Las Vegas.

My wife helped open it as a dealer from day one in 2005 and dealt there until retirement in 2016. We still go there when visiting LV, lots of Video Poker and restaurants to choose from.

I stayed there in 2022 I was excited for the south point. I would go there again for all of the activities and good food prices. The down side was running out of hot water for a shower it just was tough 8am and 7pm . The slots were tight but I’m not complaining about that I realize it’s a loosing activity but fun. Thanks for the walkthrough.

Great presentation. After over 526 trips to Vegas I moved here 3 years ago..love the Southpoint . Go to the garden buffet for all holidays. There may be a line but it's worth it. Coronado Cafe has a great Graveyard specials meno. Keep up the super You Tube videos.

I have stayed since it was the South Coast. Saw many changes myself. The sports and racebook used to combined and small. It’s the best place to play video poker. Glad to see Italian restaurant Don Vito has Italian Sausage on menu. Hope it’s good.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the South Point three different times. Very friendly people in all areas, especially in the gaming area. The free shuttle to and from the airport is an added plus when staying from out of town. An outside company runs a shuttle from the hotel to three different stops on the strip and you pay once and you can ride all day. The rooms are huge and well appointed.

We just got back from vacationing at the South Point. The price was great, we saw a movie at the in-house theater, a lot of security present in the hotel and parking structure so we felt safe, and the staff is very nice. There were dogs around the casino and staying on our floor - pets, not service dogs. Some cons: a lot of gambling smokers and the smoke migrates to the buffet, the cafes, the clothes we bought at the gift shop smelled like cigarettes. The pool is not heated, the hot tub is barely heated. Also, the bowling alley caters to local leagues first, so the hours that guests can bowl are very limited. Overall, a great place to stay :)

Smoking is allowed in 95% of the casino floor and almost ever food place and shop are in arms reach of the casino floor so you really can't get away from cigarette smoke. They do have non-smoking sections but they are usually in a part of the casino that is secluded from everything and rarely visited, you'd really have to explore to even find them, and again cigarette smoke will leak into the non smoking section so even if you don't smoke, you will still be subjected to some smoke but not as much as the rest of the casino.

Stayed at the South Point in August 2022 weekend for a couple nights before moving to a Strip Hotel for few more nights. Plenty of restaurants including a buffet and a 24 hour coffee shop. They have a hotel shuttle that can pick up and drop off hotel guests at the airport.

Yes it is a nice hotel with lots of space I was there in early 2022 Jim breuer was performing there also then and they had a bmx bike show which was free to enter I even won $500.00 on slots but should have stopped because I gave it all back.

Beautiful casino, video and narration. This casino is almost perfect. Just a 10 or 20 thousand dollars away from perfect. A deep end on the swimming pool with a couple of diving boards and this casino will leave the strip resorts in the humiliating dust.

And they even give you a coupon book and you can walk right across the street to Southpoint. We go back and forth from La so we like to stay away from the strip in downtown we're more into the local stuff there
