I hope they look at the damage if they're gimping our stamina. I feel like stamina isn't the only reason people are spamming punches. Punches don't have enough weight to keep spammers from spamming, and people defending from the spammers aren't rewarded enough from counter punches to prevent spammers from spamming.

That's where the counter system is supposed to come in play but I'm not sure if the devs even implement such a thing. In fighting games for example, beating someone before their own punch would result in a counter hit for big damage. Usually landed by predicting the timing on the opponents pattern. In this game people just spam left right left right Ali hooks, so it's easy to pull off and neutralize spammers if a counter hit system was in play...but instead they nerf stamina?

The hooks seem to land even when you are punching slightly long range against opponent. Players should have to be closer to land hooks like Gattis is winding up and landing flush but definitely needs work on having crisp hooks instead of all of them being looping

They need a little more detail on different fight styles, foot planting, cuts and swelling and add more weight to punches, certain fighters shouldn’t keep walking forward when taking clean punches

Punches look the same as the punches in the current Steam build. If they changed them, they didn't change them enough to make them look good. They still look pretty bad.

Yeah. For the most part. They can’t really show the stamina changes without a complete fight. Which the video was specifically addressing The clips do show some new punch, footwork, and guarding animations. Particularly the arcing shots and slow stepping are different. The guard also looks different; like the fighters are actually shelling up compared to current. It’s still kinda off tho lol.

Animations for punching still have an extremely long way to go. There are still so many jabs and crosses that don't show enough wrist rotation. And another plethora of punches that lack weigh distribution/transfer. It does look better but since they delayed the game massively I expect much more. Currently it isn't good enough to warrant a pre order

Thx greatly to the team and investors who made this game happen and committed to bringing this to fruition. I am worried about the servers. On fifa games, they're dedicated - i hit 48ms. On ufc 5, they're not, and matches can be 60-150ms. We need a setting for prioritizing better latency connection, even if we must wait 1-2 minutes. Especially for Ranked matches. For unranked, we could turn it off.

Career mode will suffer because they think people play simulation fight games online. UFC 5 online suffers from lag this game does too. So AI is the only way to ACTUALLY have a simulation fight without being spammed with body punches. Fighting a champion who has record of 34 an 9 is not fun either. 2 years this game will be solid.

My brother got a PC recently & we’ve been wanting try this game for a minute. I’m a seasoned Fight Night player who plays the game religiously & for a game that came out in 2011 compared to this that came out last year I was very disappointed by the movement, the movement feels so sluggish like whenever I try to bob & weave, it takes CENTURIES for it to register where I want to move. I’m impressed by the feint mechanics but damn the movement alone turns me away from playing it again
