Brand New Vosteed Model That Seems Pretty Sweet! I had no idea Vosteed had another new model in the works but I always am excited when they do. This is another fairly budget friendly model for Vosteed. This is only my first impressions and once I’ve had enough time with it and have completed the testing then I will do my full review. Thumb disks are so divisive....But, I personally love them. I'm tired of every knife looking the same, and most thumb studs are uncomfortable. Buck limited edition Slim Pro, burlap mircata , S45Vn version has these "over sized" studs , where one of them was made slanted about 45 degrees. ..like a ramp. Very comfortable. ..but rare

I like the overall design and don’t mind the thumb disk as long as it works! Vosteed is really pumping out a lot for 2024 already and I’m not mad about it!

Yes similar to the Dachshund which is named after a Dog breed. It is a great knife, with beautiful smooth action, and looks. This Company is really rocking. I agree about the color. Question: do you like the mini Nightshade in the green aluminum or micarta better?

That general blade shape is being used a lot right now. Reminds me of the Miguron Keryx.

@@davidcoats1037 I bought the Miguron Keryx 2, which is the budget version, a couple months ago and it's a solid knife, I really like it. It's only $60 and I definitely recommend it if you're interested in checking out a knife with this blade shape without spending a lot. Has good action, a nice detent, liner lock has really good access and feel, and the blade drops shut ever so smoothly with just a little shake needed to send it home.

That’s a good looking knife. I’ve never owned one with a thumb stud. I always thought they were neat looking but a lot of people seem to hate them. I wonder why???

No more Vosteeds for me, sold otf every one accept the one that still doesn't work.. The will soon take away my comment! And tell me to contact support!! It took over 6 months for them to get things to replace the damage parts!! And still the knife don't work as it supposed to do !!

Adding a thumb disc is probably the easiest way to ruin a great design. Great review as always.
