Why do American’s always call a car a ‘2025’ or a year newer than it actually is? I’ve never heard anyone in the UK EVER say that 😂. It’s literally not a 2025 car in 2024. Always wondered

Thank for being part of my channel and leaving a comment. Auto manufacturers begin production of the next year’s model typically in the later part of the current year. The manufacturer also may add or delete options on the vehicle that are only available for a specific year. For example, BMW may offer a Bright Purple paint option for one production cycle in year 2025. Even though it is being manufactured in the later part of calendar year 2024.
