I have had a generic oxy and found the strength 30-50% less effective than the brand... same experience happened with a cortisteriod as well...

I never thought that generics are worse because of the cost. It’s cause they are different. Adderall generic have some different side effects than the brand

YES. Thank you. Brand name adderall works great for me, but the generics often give me a hard to describe “inflamed” feeling that feels like a mild flu

While all of those things are true, some generic medications truly are of poorer quality to the point that they actually cause real side effects, and not just in drugs with a low therapeutic index. Heck, talk to anyone who takes Adderall. I had no bias for any manufacturer when I was first prescribed it. Teva was the generic I was given for the first few months. Then I was given another generic which made me feel very sick after a couple days. I assumed they'd work the same and thought maybe something else was causing it. So I took this generic the next day and soon felt much sicker. I looked at the label and saw it was Aurobindo. So I did a little research online and found there is a strong public dislike for Aurobindo. As in, I read dozens of individual accounts of different generic Adderall, and almost everyone explains how they've had negative side effects with Aurobindo, and that Teva works the best. And the Aurobindo generic cost the same as the Teva. If corruption were not completely entrenched in the pharmaceutical industry I would agree with you completely. But so long as pharmaceutical manufacturing corporations can produce fake results of efficacy and safety, which we see in the news all the time, these claims of equal efficacy for brand vs generic, or even one generic to the next, has little validity.

Yes just posted, with the Adderall, if you were taking name brand, then switched generic, your body likely was feeling mild withdrawal effects of Dextroseamphetamine, which is 50% of the name brand's formulation, more powerful than Methamphetamine, and the other half is mixed amphetamine salts. The generic is 100% mixed amphetamine salts. That said, sure there will be Dextroseamphetamine in them, but it's trace to maybe a few percent tops. The genetics openly display this. Idk how this is okay at all. Probably it's because the way people tend to not take disorders such as ADHD seriously, and the bias has infiltrated into the people that make these decisions to be okay, as well as the whole narcotic thing, which is a fucking bad joke.

I pay way less for genetic Omeprazole compared to the branded one (which is also generic), and even way less than the innovator brand Prilosec. Even compared to the branded Omeprazole, I pay just 5% the cost with generics.

You've obviously never taken brand name Suboxone tablets vs generic. Same thing with the Suboxone strips. Generic Adderall openly clarify they lack the 50% Dextroseamphetamine + 50% Mixed Amphetamine Salts formulation that the name brand claims, and is exclusively Mixed Amphetamine Salts. No big deal since generally most amphetamine salts are similar, until you note that Dextroseamphetamine has even more powerful psychoactive effects than Methamphetamine/Desoxyn.
