tbf, most people only started playing 60C a year or so ago, and grass lines are always difficult to optimize. but these things come with trial and error mostly, and understanding a few basic combo principles when it comes to the deck.

Khaos Starsource Dragon?! I also ran some tests and it *is* a better Furious on the turn it's summoned only, but extra deck space is so tight, especially when I run Nadir in a 40c variant... although it's another target for LaDD... Hmmm, ty for this idea and video Branded Queen P. S.: Even without Dragoon or Tearlaments I still like running Hex to dodge Called By, as it can double as either Albaz or Ecclesia, so your Branded Albion play won't die.

dragostapelia negates as a continous effect. just because it puts a counter before getting negated, doesnt mean it will actually negate anything after it is negated by aluber.

I'm still learning Branded and your videos help me to understand the deck better especially when it comes to the summon order. I currently struggle to summon Light & Darkness Dragon at the correct time without getting screwed over by it. The extra deck is really tight with Branded because there are so many good option, since i encountered so many Yubel players i started to play Mysterion the Dragon Crown because he is pretty good against but maybe i have to deck him out.

Hey April, love your videos! What are your thoughts on Astellar as a one of in Branded to special Cartesia/Quem from deck? I've been trying it out and when I do get to use it, it does make my end board stronger, but in a way it also feels a bit like a win-more card.

I really appreciate this videos, it teaches how to play Branded + it gives hope that one can actually give a fight to those decks who always setup like 10 stuffs that negate you or very scary monsters (I'm transitioning from Dark Magician to Branded and I really like how Branded let's you do many stuff as long as you're creative with it)

Obviously replays are GOATed. In terms of Fuwalos, I do not know how much I like the card. The high spirits interaction is very rare tbh and I think I would rather play cards that help both going first or second. Nibiru is insane in Branded but we live in a Tenpai format.

its not great tbh. u dont need power in branded, u need non engine space and ability to beat handtraps.

What I try to do against the voiceless is to get rid of the Lo not the boss, without it their boss can't negate and lose attack points The boss monster their have many way to get back but Lo I think they can only summon it once from it's effect and once from normal summon

I really need to stop being scared of wasting or using up resources, I play every duel like I'm expecting it to reach turn 60. that's my biggest weakness probably.

Aww I'm a bit sad to see Sanctifire go, it's my favorite Branded card cause it offers a way to play into Maxx C and has some pretty interesting lines (not locking the opponent, was never a fan of that). But I also totally get the reasoning. Do you think the 60 card version is just overall the strongest or are you gonna experiment a bit with lower deck sizes as well?

i think u need 60. grass from thrust going 2nd is important for a lot of games. and if u try to cut the deck to be smaller, you'll find it ends up pretty big no matter what

Nice video. Curious. Why does everyone put Ladd into attack mode I don’t see any advantage of putting a monster who’s going to lose attack into attack position on the turn you can’t attack. Only for someone to possibly OTK over the top of it. Or in general just lose life points. Explain ?

Personally I do it incase they chain Imperm cause it resets to 3400 ATK and they can't punch over it that easily.

How come ladd activated at 11:00 ? It shouldn't be able to chain to a spell effect, and it's not even like poplar was negated Great plays though!

complicated rulings. ladd will chain to anything if a legal activation earlier in the chain it could normally respond to was used. it wont negate unless its chaining directly to the effect, but it still triggers weirdly like this.
