Great video! Don't forget you can use the button on the pen to quickly erase as well and it saves whatever pen tool you are using without having to go to the toolbar to toggle.

I'm trying to figure out how to access my Noteshelf notes from my Galaxy Tab S7 with my Google Pixel phone and am not having any luck. I can import my notebook but can't seem to find a way to do real time syncing - I did see Apple users have the ability for real time synching using Noteshelf. Any advice is appreciated!

in the video you say you can write and then it syncs later online. do you mean, if I want to use it without a wifi connection, in my university math faculty we don't have a wifi, can I then have the synchronization and backup later? then save locally to the device and then sync online? thank you

YEs, if you take notes with the device, and you are offline, the updates are held locally on the device. When it connects to the internet, it will sync those notes to the cloud and then deliver the updates to any other devices sharing that notebook.

My Galaxy S7 FE came with Noteshelf but it doesn't have any of those same things. The settings are the same and pen settings but the Notebook part-calendar. None of that shows up. Is it different than what you are showing

Wait, Noteshelf syncs across Android devices????? Please do show this because it says on their website that auto-sync is not available for Android, just Google Drive Backup. Which means you can constantly restore to keep sync but that's kinda annoying.....

I think you're correct - it's not a true sync, just a backup.

Great Video. But I am missing if you can search in your handwritten notes or does it only search in converted text? And can you export your handwritten note as a pdf where you have the OCR Text beneath the handwriting, so that you can see the handwriting but are still able to search. Apple Apps do that perfectly.

yes, one year later of your comment it is still not possible. There is a "backup" to Google Drive in a strange file type, but no real sync so that you can open a note and open it on another device to continue working on it

Is there a way to add (paste or write) an active hyperlink in noteshelf? Like, I plan to read a specific article, or watch a video course online-will I be able to past insert a web link in my planner in Noteshelf, and then access it from there? Samsung Notes (and S Note prior to it) has had this feature for ages, would be hard to do without it in another app of the kind.

The short answer to this is yes. You should be able to paste a website link to your notebook and it keep the hyperlink/html. You will not be able to hand write this however.

The planner is meant to be paper-like. Just like you would with a paper planner you would have to compose those notes on each page. However, with digital you are able to copy and quickly paste them in multiple locations.

I so wish there was something that worked like Noteshelf or Goodnotes with the Windows Surface tablets! Sure, OneNote and Xodo work, but the features and usability aren't as good!

I wouldn't move just yet. Choose one app and learn how to plan in that app. Allow your planning skills to take focus. Once you see some accomplishments you may want to journey into another app.

This app would be perfect if it could sync across devices in Android. It comes preloaded on the Tab 7, Fe and 7+ yet you're unable to access the content on your Samsung phone. An app that is unable to sync across devices in 2022 is pointless.

You should be able to log back in your account on our website and download your planner. You can reinstall. Did you not back up your planner in the application you were using with cloud storage?
