I think she prefers to stay on the sidelines and perform the music she wants, when she wants. The Story skyrocketed the billboard top charts in the early 2000's, maybe 2005 I think? she could have kept it going and really shot off but she kind of dissapeared for a while. I think she likes being more private, I like it too, to be honest! it's like she's a little secret for all of us "in the know" :P

She came to the Fox Theater in Tucson, AZ about 18 years ago. Tickets were $20. One of my greatest regrets in life was skipping that concert because it was a long ways to drive from Bowie, AZ. Her tickets are now going for $300-450. Awesome to see her make it.

I can't express how awesome this is....I discovered her when I heard "Turpentine" and loved the song and her voice but somehow never looked up more songs from her. I remembered enjoying "Dying Day" also. I didn't truly discover her until her Bear Creek album and now as I go back I can't believed I missed all of this!!! This is definitely now one of my favorite songs!
