This makes me cry so hard. This is my letter to the past of last year and up to 3/2021. I almost said my goodbyes to everyone. I stayed strong. I was told that others need me for them. My friends and mother saved me

My hell started 3/2021 & I finally broke on 6/11/21 & tried to leave this world. Things got a bit better in Oct 2021 & then May 2022 everything crashed again. Four nights ago my intuition guided me to uncover the absolute truth & now I am more broken then ever before 💔 You see, I came into this world to a father who horrificly abused my using porn my entire childhood. On that day in late March 2021 I discovered my husband’s porn use that he hid for almost 15 yrs from me. I forgave him & tried to move on. When I discovered the truth the other night it killed my spirit. I am ready to go home to my forever resting place free of pain and fear and crippling sadness. 😔 🙏🏻

It's a game Baby, it's just a game And nobody loses when you learn to love the one Who finally wins sometimes You'll be wrong 'Cause sometimes, we get it wrong But nobody leaves here alive And nothin' holy comes from bein' right So don't hold your breath like that Baby, let it go You're gonna feel it in your back Believe me, I oughta know You're a stone wall In a world full of rubber bands You're a pillar of belief Still bitin' your shakin' hands Folks are gonna lean on you And leave when the cracks appear But, darlin', I'll be here I'll be the last You're my letter to the past You can cry You know it's always okay to cry You don't even need to know why But don't you ever feel alone inside If you need to know the truth I still haven't got a clue If the blind can lead the blind Then, baby, I'm just like you You're a stone wall In a world full of rubber bands You're a pillar of belief Still fightin' your empty hands Folks are gonna lean on you And leave when the cracks appear But, darlin', I'll be here I'll be the last You're my letter to the past You're a stone wall In a world full of rubber bands You're a pillar of belief Still hidin' your empty hands Folks are gonna lean on you And leave when the cracks appear Darlin', I will be here I'll be the last You're my letter to the past It's a game You know it's okay to lose a game But always remember your name And have no shame Because you're built to last

The older Brandi gets, the more complete her Elton John-ification becomes :) I love both her rootsy, country songs, and these operatic pop hymns. She could sing the phone book with that voice of hers and I‘d listen.

Maybe 90s Elton after the surgeries but this is so dry and soulless like she just wrote it for a paycheck.

Yeah....nuff said! You're a stone wall, In a world full of rubber bands. You're a pillar of belief, Still bitin' your shakin' hands. Folks are gonna lean on you, And leave when the cracks appear. But, darlin', I'll be here. I'll be the last, You're my letter to the past.

Eargasm. Thxxx Brandi. Beautiful note to past.. felt this in my bones, spirit and soul. Wherever life takes u.. even when the whole world lets go of ur hand, i'll be here ..holding on.. fighting for u. I'm here for the good and bad, thru tears and smiles, from brokenness to wholeness.. patiently waiting, while u do ur navigating till ur feelings catch up with mine.

By far the most beautiful song from “In These Silent Days”- The lyrics induce tears. The calming instrumental is a gentle reminder that no matter how many times you lose yourself, you can find yourself over and over because the past is only a lesson filled with moments for us humans to reflect upon. Thank you Brandi for this 🎵❤️
