This is what Loretta said in her book, "Me and Patsy" about this performance: "But my favorite moment of the night was probably when Brandi Carlile walked out onstage and sang 'She's Got You.' Those lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks...I thought for sure Patsy was there with us when Brandi was singing. I sat there, by the side of the stage listening to all these amazing singers-so many of them women-holding my grown daughter Patsy's hand, both of us smiling at each other. It was truly full circle for me."

Oh my! Is that ANOTHER standing ovation a la Grammys? Brandi keeps on killin' it at venues where most folk wouldn't expect her to. But those of us who have followed her for years aren't the least bit surprised. There's not much she's done that hasn't been absolutely awesome!

Rose Culbreth Everybody has bad days and yes when I read your comment I thought, I didn’t kill anyone and though I didn’t mean to misspell Brandy’s last name why make a comment on such a small trivia accident, what if I had spelled her first name with an I instead as in Brandi, I did that before because there were two different Brandy’s that had been on that stage that night, maybe if I had notice I would have changed the spelling, but more importantly I think, “Love this” would have been the better option, I try not to judge anyone for anything, you liked the performance of the song that’s what mattered the most, like I said I didn’t kill anyone so let’s try to make this a better world and not be so critical of anyone, but I glad you loved this, thanks a million!
